If you have the time, could you give us an idea of the number of riders and ratios of male/female riders. Your wonderful pics make it look like 'babe heaven' from this side of the pond!

I would say 1 to 1 male to female. I was fairly selective in shooting. Having been to the parade three years running now, and a lover of the pics of the parade. There is a pretty good sized group of regular riders. I'd say close to 150-200 riders.

Holy cow!! Bjcojak, you hit the jackpot! I was going to put my pics in the other thread I started, but since this one is now going, it appears to be the "official" Fremont thread. So I will plunk mine down here too.

Man, this thread is off to a blazing start! The parade is only 3 hours old, and already we have top notch pics! I'm so happy you were there, bjcojak, and were able to help me out this year. Here's why:

My story - I almost got wiped out!! I arrived at the parade area a good hour before noon, but while looking for a parking space, accidently got on the hwy 99 on ramp and HOLY SHIT! - was suddenly headed over the bridge on a limited access road and out of the district. It took me 45 MINUTES to get turned around and, fighting traffic and all, arrive back at the parade area. By then, it was 11:45 - I had ZERO time left to park and get by fanny down to Gaswork Park. Luckily, I arrived within seconds of the arrival of the first group of bikers, but I was so out of breath, I could hardly hold my camera!

OK, so - I DID get pics, but they won't go up as fast as my friend's here did.

What a whilrwind little trip. It seemed over before it began. I was very tired and half the riders were dressed before I got my breath back.

But it looked like a good time for everyone else. Its hard to guage numbers, but turnout seemed pretty strong and I think the babe quality might have been a little higher this year, with numbers slightly lower. But it was all sort of a blur....:)

That was the first thought that ran through my head when i started snapping her! Just colors reversed.

Like last year, I will put pics up in ones and twos at first. I'm not trying to tease anyone - its just how I work. :)

I'll start out with this wonderful asian girl and her friend - I was fortunate to get dozens of pics of them.

to expedite things, I might forgo attention to crops on some of these. Later, I will recrop before posting on my website.
