This is something I used to remind people about on a regular basis.
Many people think its rude for members who haven't contributed to the forums to keep asking for .ZIP files. Remember, .ZIP files are a luxury that you can't expect all the time. In the future, we could choose to limit .ZIP file downloads to those members who have made real contributions on the forums... That might wake some people up.;) It's entirely up to individual members to choose their own posting style. My best suggestion to those members who want more .ZIP files, is that you take some time to .ZIP up the files in your favorite threads and then post them yourselves. That's a nice way to give something back. Thanks, |
It's no so hard...
Hey folks,
Although I don't expect every contributor to supply a zip file, sometimes it's nice to have it when there is a nice set. I am will write a quick "How to download pics from the forum and create a zip" tutorial. Cheers, Hilo |
There does seem to have been a lot of new users asking for zips lately, i checked one and out of 7 posts 5 were "zip please" I couldnt think of anything that conveyed my feelings and was polite at the time. If i wasnt on dial up i would add zips more. I mean if you have downloaded the pics already and you have cable its going to take what, an extra 30 seconds?
Could you make zip a censored word untill a user hit a set number of posts? |
