Perhaps the host and others next to him appear to be in on it only because they were looking at a tv monitor which i think is standard for any tv host to have close by.

It was the german "Bull Race". A Funshow were TV- Soap Stars and other Class B prominents ride real bulls but I don´t know if it was staged or an amateur. Sorry my english is not very good!

In the beginning the announcer yells "Sehr gut!" (very good) and "Ja Wohl" (another cheer) then I really cannot make out what he is saying something like "that was definately ....", sorry its been 4-5 years since i last spoke deutsch
