I’ve been a regular subscriber to OF, mainly started through Covid lockdowns. I never really had to (chose to?) pay more than 9.99 a month to subscribe, usually you get by on discount offers. You get used to the marketing accounts separate from the really girls who were just trying to run their own stuff during lockdown.

I enjoyed the chats, which you don’t get with free stuff. Some girls obviously push to monetise but during lockdowns there was a lot of good chats, and sexting and stuff that was more personal.

I also “advised” some girls on what other accounts operated. I did prefer girls just setting out and building their confidence and to see fairly regular, but pretty hot girls, just showering, changing, masturbating etc is great!

And yes I knew 2 girls - one started working in my company after Covid restrictions were being lifted but had been unemployed a bit beforehand. She was early 20s, pretty fit, and I might have a tendency to look at these girls Insta’s anyway. With a bit of detective work, found the link account. She stopped being active once she got a job with us but there was a catalogue of nude pics and clips for a bit.

The other girl I didn’t really know - guy at the golf club got a bit drunk and said about his daughter always being on her phone in her room. Again bit if detective work, and hey presto yes she was doing OF. Didn’t really know her beforehand but was cool to see her account and sext a bit.

I've subscribed to a few OF accounts most for only a month. The very few I stayed longer than that catered to my favorite niche (a particular flavor of public nudity OF no longer allows). But I haven't subscribed to anyone in over a year because for many reasons it just wasn't worth the price for me.

That said, if I knew someone, I'd probably subscribe for a month or two just out of curiosity; but as you pointed out that would require her to be willing to advertise to an existing following which has consequences.

I have an acquaintance who I watched go from 18yo nn model to tease pics to private shoots with photographers to straight out stripping in clubs to OF. This was all laid out on her other social media. Her OF was very cheap, $6 I think? So I signed up.

Body was as I expected, but the quality of the pictures were awful. Mirror selfies in bad lighting, a few tepid masturbation vids that managed to not catch much of the action because she was shooting them herself with what must have been an iPhone 4. Kept implying she'd do a G/G shoot but never did.

She only updated a couple times a year and so I dropped it. She keeps saying on Twitter that she doesn't have any subscribers, and that's why.

So the advice I would give is either go for it with a decent photographer, find someone who knows how to do a camera and lighting, and keep to an update schedule. Post thirst shots on Twitter and implied nudes on IG to bring people to her OF.

I'm not recommending anybody do it, but if you do, I'd advise to build up content prior to singing up. Practice with lighting and camera techniques. Set up a room in the house to do it. Buy a tripod and even a proper mic. All that stuff is fairly cheap nowadays. But if you can build up a large variety of pics and videos that cover all types of fetishes and curiosities then you'll easily be able to post regularly and that's how you keep subscribers. It's the exact same with Instagram, TikTok, Youtube etc. Good quality that is regularly posted goes a long way. Also, what is it that will set you apart from others?

As with everything else, there’s more behind the curtain than meets the eye.

The OF ‘stars’ use marketing and management companies to handle their OF account text message conversations, so just like the phone sex lines from the 90s, it’s never the beautiful woman you think it is behind the screen responding to you.

As for why people pay for it rather than just getting free stuff online, if you know the woman personally or otherwise have a hard on for her from seeing her in the media, it must be an incomparable feeling to have them perform specifically for you.

It’s weirdly frustrating to search for anybody on that site, thank you for sharing why. There must be some middle ground, because the search engine is otherwise just terrible.
