I'm a little puzzled here. Why is it considered unacceptable to repost pics of someone you know, but perfectly okay to do so of a complete stranger? Every girl in a photo is known by somebody, no matter who they are, so why is it any different posting a stranger compared to someone you know? All women in the photos have lives of their own, and just because we don't actually know them doesn't mean they are any different to friends, neighbours or loved ones. I think what should be considered more is WHAT is reposted, regardless of whether you know the girl or not.

On another angle, if you've seen someone you know photos online, then their pics have already been posted by somebody else, so they are already out there on the net. So I suppose you could repost if you wished, as long as it wasn't done with their full name, address and personal details for malicious intent or revenge porn, which is something OCC's forum has always been strictly against. After all, the whole point of this forum is for people who love women, who admire and enjoy photos of them, naked and otherwise. That is the basis for any porn site, but it is also a fact that all girls on here are somebody's friend, neighbour or loved one, many with spouses and families. However, the inescapable truth is that without these lovely ladies, porn sites would not exist at all. In the end you can only post what you find, but remembering to be respectful in what you post, regardless of who it my be.

As to the original question posed on here by HeWhoDares, I don't think I could post photos gleaned from another person's computer, as why take the risk? There is always a temptation to save them, that is natural, but that is all. And with people you know, you would have to consider their home life, if the lady was happily married, plus how it would affect them if, for example, her hubby had posted her to lovingly show her off, but she didn't know. It might put a good marriage at risk. That's why I stick to my signature philosophy, where all my girls are finds from the net. It's safer that way, and I'm just reposting what is already out there.

By the way, my quoting from supersmoothy's post wasn't meant as any slight on him. Far from it. You made good points. I just thought it was a good post to quote from to put my own (long) opinion in on the subject.

Bounci, no offence taken. :)
Just to answer your question, I didn't mean to talk about "moral" acceptability. My only point was that if you don't know the ladies you are reposting, then it's practically impossible for you to get into any kind of legal trouble. On the other hand, if you repost ladies you do know, this possibility exists, even though it may be highly unlikely.

Point happily taken. I knew you meant the legal aspect of it. I just wanted to highlight another point in the debate. Personally, I wouldn't post people I knew onto the net, or post pics I found on other people's emails. I wouldn't be brave enough. That's why I always stick to what is already on the net. However, other people would do. That's the point of this debate. And I bet if someone actually did so with a absolute stunner, we would all be happy that they showed her off - not least because none of us lot actually know the girl!

I've never shared found material publicly on a forum. But I have sent to interested people who had material to swap. I guess there's a chance it'll end up somewhere public in the end but so far everyone I've sent to has kept their word and not spread it. As far as I know.

As well as found material I also have homemade voyeur material, that would put me in a tricky position if it ever got out seeing as I'm the only one who could have made it... So that I've (almost) never went to anyone!

legality

Laws are changing all the time, so you'd have to be pretty clear on the current laws to make sure you weren't breaking them somehow . I'd imagine that going through somebody's private email and then using that person's email without their consent to send yourself images and then post them online would equate to illegal actions on your part.

In saying that, it's human nature to be curious and take a look, but any further than that is out of bounds for me morally. Actually, I may not even look at the person's email, even if I did have the chance to be honest.

As for finding a flash drive and find random naked pics on it. Okay to look, but not okay to distribute for mine. Showing buddies at your place... no worries. But no posting to the internet.

Judging by this site and the thread "ways to show off wife", the flash drive could even have been a deliberate loss and some couple are getting kicks out of knowing the finder is getting off on them!

who's kidding whom?

I get a kick out of people debating posting pictures and claiming some moral high ground on issues of to post or not to post - face it folks, you're here to see (legal) naked chicks, and if you weren't, you wouldn't be here. I'm quite sure you look at everything that gets posted without covering your eyes :D
