The mouse ears girl (or as I call her, Cat Ear Girl because she wore a pair of matching leopardskin-pattern gloves) appeared at both London and Brighton 2010. In London on the Saturday she wore red bodypaint and rode topless, in Brighton on the Sunday she wore blue bodypaint and rode naked.

As far as I know, she'd never been seen before, and hasn't since. At least, I've seen no pictures.

Hard to believe that it’s already been ten years! For me, I’ve always appreciated those with the regular ‘girl next door’ vibe (who don’t seem like committed exhibitionists, nor make an effort to draw attention to themselves).

So I figured I’d post two of my favourites, who I believe only ever rode one time only. The first is this blonde who took part in the Brighton 2010 event with her sister. She’d only been topless during the ride itself – and had disguised herself in a wig and sunglasses – but stripped off fully nude for the post-ride skinny dip. Photographers weren’t as rife as they are today, so there’s nowhere near as many photos of her as there would have been from, say, last year’s ride. But I was pleased and somewhat surprised when a fresh HQ gallery emerged in 2012, two full years on from the event.

There’s also a couple of clothed/unclothed shots that were posted on Reddit a few years back. Huge credit and thanks to the original photographers for bringing us these amazing scenes.

My second contribution is my all-time favourite WNBR participant, a redhead (naturally a brunette!) who took part in the Brighton 2015 event. I love the fact that she was completely naked – barefoot too – and that, unlike most girls in this day and age, she had a hearty bush going on down there. I’ve managed to find over 200 photos of her from the day, and there was a great moment at the end of the ride where she strolled around the Brighton promenade naked en route to the beach. Shame she never participated again, but in a way, that makes it all the more special.

I've often wondered why there are quite a few women who turn up one year, show no shyness about getting completely naked and seem from all evidence to enjoy themselves thoroughly, and yet they never appear again. Is part of their abandon and enjoyment that it's a 'once in lifetime' thing, or are they out off by realising how many photos of them are posted? I know from speaking to women who have ridden in several rides annually that some of them eventually stop because the attention from photographers becomes too much.
