Silly question
 

Do women like to be photographed? The word "selfie" wouldn't exist if it weren't for the narcissism of women.

My wife loves it!
 

From the first time I pulled the camera out while we were dating long before we were married, my wife loved to have her photo taken.
I remember the first time I even suggested taking photos of her with little or nothing on. It was in her dorm room, I was shooting b/w so I could process the film myself. She just asked why I wanted photos of her naked and when I told her that I wanted to be able to see her like that anytime, she just stripped and smiled.
Since then, she has naked photos from every vacation we have ever gone on. At home, I always have a camera ready in a drawer by the bed. I have more photos of her naked than with clothes.
She has posed naked for several of our male friends, with me present, without me present, at our home and at theirs. She has gone with our friends to lakes and woods, anywhere they choose. When they tell her they want her to take off her clothes, she does with no debate. She's had friends drop by while I was out of town and ended up posing naked with them. She has sent emails and texts showing me photos they took.
We used to send out color film out to be processed and that especially turned her on knowing that a stranger would see her totally naked. I'd usually send her into the shop to pick up the prints, she lover the thrill/embarrassment wondering if they had looked at them, or if they would ask if she wanted to go through them to see if they were okay.
So to answer the question, maybe not all women like to be photographed, but luckily my wife loves it!

When my wife and I first started dating, I suggested some boudoir type photos. Surprisingly she didn't resist at all.
I started off slowly, and when the poses got racier and some skin began to appear in the poses, she was getting all her lingerie soaking wet!
Easy fix for that, no more lingerie.

I guess we know the answer to that question!

When I first meet my wife, she didn't want any nudes of her taken. Within weeks, I started a collection of her and she got into it more. And even she even took pics of me.

She stores pics of herself and us naked on her phone.

But yeah, most women want sexy or sexual photos taken of them.... look at all the porn mags / websites and selfies.

I've known a few exceptions where a woman is very self conscious even when fully dressed therefore she doesn't look relaxed or natural in a photo. This becomes a viscious circle where she doesn't like having her photo taken.
But, in the main I find women tend to light up in front of a camera, smile and pose, even clothed.
Sometimes you look at a pose and think, "yeah, you've had naked pics taken or at least you want to."
I'll sometimes get a token protest from my wife, if she's busy or thinks that her hair doesn't look good, but as soon as I start snapping she's into it.

I’ve had a few amateurs who either from an issue of self-esteem or career risk limit what they will do. But, I would say that the vast majority love to be photographed. Once you start giving the gals positive feedback and attention the sky is the limit. Letting the women see the photos as you’re taking them gives them encouragement to try different poses. I’ve also found that the most reserved women can be the most expressive and naughty.

My experience goes kinda like yours. If I just walked up to some woman and asked her if I could take pics of her scantily clad, I would probably get the cops called on me. But, if I tell her I'm a professional photographer, and ask the same thing, her clothes will start falling off like she's just downed a bottle of first rate tequila. The sorta average plain Jane ones are the most eager. I guess they aren't used to getting the attention and they lap it up.

I had a friend who was an accomplished amateur photographer. He was very successful simply approaching women on the street. Most were eager to have photos taken after he showed them his work. He used outdoor settings in a secluded area. He would post signs advising passersby that it was a private photo shoot.

I haven't had any luck with my girl yet

Early in our marriage, my wife posed for several different photographers. She was always comfortable being naked and found it to be an easy way to make some extra money.
She said that many times the photographer was the one who was nervous so she would try to relax the situation by getting naked right away and then talking to him about the shoot. After some chat and maybe a cup of coffee, the shooting would begin.
She loved to be complimented, told how hot she was, etc during the shoot. It would really get her turned on.
