It's still useful to post vidcaps if there are specific frames you want to capture that represent your video. However, posting vidcaps is not required.

The forum software will now create about 12 vidcaps at evenly spaced points throughout the duration of the video.

Here's a neat additional feature we have added. People who upload videos will see an extra "Edit" button on the video's streaming page. If you click on that you can choose which of the forum generated thumbnails is the "best" to represent to content of the video. This "best" thumbnail will be the first one shown when people are previewing the videos. On this same page, you can also edit the title of your video if you want to use a more descriptive or "search friendly" name.

I'd also like to add my sincere thank you for adding this extremely useful feature. It's very helpful especially in the rural backwoods DSL bandwidth hell we live in. I'm lucky to see 180 kB/ps transfer speeds so the ability to see beyond screen caps, or take a shot in the dark if the uploader didn't include caps, is a godsend.

IMO, yes, they do have value. They still help define the video's content. Not everyone provides the helpful kind of description that you do (much appreciated). Depending on the device or d-load speed, caps permit the user a quick review, helping to see if the video will be compatible with the user's interest.

Having said that, the new stream feature is great. Good work OCC! You're the best of the bunch.

Aw, it doesn't work on the Wii U. Oh well, still a good feature. :(

Love the new video feature. Huge props to ya'll.

There is also a neat shortcut to download the original video file when browsing a streaming video page. If you "Right Click" over the video you will see a menu to choose:

• More videos uploaded by this member
• View this post
• Download video: original file name

OCC has been my favorite adult site for over a decade, but there's one issue that's been a constant irritant: people who post large files without caps or a description beyond HOT, or something equally mindless.

Brilliant update. There were way too many people "claiming" they couldn't upload or create thumbnails before. This solves that problem.
