I have another tip.
Get the ratios between something happening and filling in the background information right. I've never liked stories where 75% of the story is taken up by background information and only background information. The characters are frozen in time whilst the writer is telling us all this stuff, and then the characters finally do something and it's all over in a few paragraphs. Thankfully, I don't see too many of these around on this forum specifically, but I think it's important to let the action take over. It doesn't have to be the stripping itself, but the characters have to be interacting with the world around them, rather than the writer simply telling us everything whilst the characters are hanging around waiting for the narrator to shut up. |
I think, for me, the most important thing is to be passionate about what you write. If you like deep, emotional connections, fine. If you prefer shallow, hardcore action, also fine. There's an audience for both! If you try to write in a style that you don't enjoy or attempt to please someone else, it'll probably show. Then, no one is truly pleased with the outcome.
Although, grammar and spelling are universal deal breakers! Writing lk ur typin a txt msg is greatest sin of them all, and I've seen it happen with increasing frequency. Bah, kids these days... Get off my lawn! Anyway, I don't think my writing style earns me a lot of fans, but I'm generally pretty happy with it. Just not enough hours in the day and a lot of responsibilities! :) |
1) Don't be in a hurry.
The embarrass is deeper if it's built slowly. 2) ENF stories are fair ones. It's better if the stripped lady deserve it; if there is justice -the bad ones are punished, the good ones are rewarded. |

Really good thread. I'm a newbie, so please don't take this as Gospel or anything, but here are my thoughts:
1. The build up is EVERYTHING. Sometimes you find a story with a great premise....... but no build up. Or great characters, but no build up. So the ENF stuff happens, and it loses the impact. 2. Pet Peeve A: The story doesn't give lots of details, which is ok, so I imagine the details in my head and paint a picture. But then, usually when the action is finally getting hot, the story suddenly gives a bunch of details...... and it turns out I was imagining everything all wrong! Blondes become brunettes, teens become milfs, big boobs go FLAT!!! Doh! 3. Pet Peeve B: This is the ENF version of watching an "adult" video, where a hot girl is stripping, taking off all her clothes..... and when you finally get to the end, it turns out "she" is a tranny! An ENF story (usually first person) where you THINK the protagonist is of one gender. And the story goes on and on, talking about her job, school, family, etc. Blah blah blah. It's not until you read halfway through the story that you find out you had the gender wrong! Double Doh! 4. The more the author builds up how much the girl fears/hates revealing herself, the more exciting the payoff. And when the author really builds this up, and the "reveal" of each part of her body is dramatic, the payoff is off the charts. (A few stories in particular do an incredible job of putting an EXCLAMATION POINT!!!! on why a girl fears/hates being esposed naked..... and then it happens anyway, in a fun & well paced story..... those are my favorites. Bless those writers!!) 5. This is JMO, but I don't mind it when a story gets extreme, because I just skip over the parts I don't like. Once you know the plot and characters, it's like an adult video tape (speaking of the old days!) where you just fast forward to your favorite scenes, and I'd rather a story have the stuff I want, even if it does go farther than I would've written. But I might be in the minority here. |

The really good writers come up with very innovative ways to ratchet up the E. Because all stories have the same basic set-up: In a hypothetical situation, SOMETHING happens that forces a woman to reveal something personal, intimate and embarrassing. The E can simply be the fear/shame/shock in being seen naked, but there's some really, really great stories where the author raises the stakes higher: 1. Woman has a special reason to fear being seen naked, or fear being seen in an uncomfortable situation 2. Being seen naked will have uniquely devastating consequences for her 3. Woman's personality/appearance/job/status makes her just BEGGING to be stripped! 4. There's a sense of payback/karmic justice 5. The people who witness/perpetrate the E somehow makes the E even worse Maybe folks could post a few stories that we think are particular standouts? |

good read
I think I am guilty of some of the bad habits here when I write stuff.
I am new to this, but when I write EUF/ENF stuff (I am more into EUF). I make sure that once the character got stripped already that I focus on their embarassment until the story ends. About who gets stripped? I prefer women who are kinda prudish, and the uptight women. |
Hmmm, haven't put too many contributions here, but I've contributed a lot to the interactive stories over on writing.com. Two things I'd like to add:
1) Sometimes an author adds other fetishes, if they are not to extreme. I find this to be a good practice, I sometimes found myself liking some kink I never liked before because it worked with the story. My contributions might have some spanking, hot bens, or wet and messy. I've found very few (I think, in fact 0) people who say this ruins it for them, and several who enjoyed it. 2) As far as the innocent/deserving factor, I like to cheat here. Maybe some character with an evil streak plans to humiliate some innocent young thing, and it backfires on her. But maybe, that innocent young person who escaped unscathed, will get stripped in a sequel. Then, perhaps she takes revenge. In other words, why do we have to decide? Just keep writing until it's time for a new story because it's gone back and forth so much there's nothing that hasn't been done. You could even do it tit for tat (no pun intended) where, in the context of a catfight or something, both characters are stripped by degrees. On the other hand, it's nice for one to keep her dignity for a while chapter, as you drag it out, making the comeuppance sweeter when it happens. |

As Myds impied, you need to strike a balance. Is it a BE story with ENF elements, or an ENF story with BE elements? I've found that the body-transformation aspects tend to go over well so long as the transformations involve realistic sizes and body parts. No boobs literally the size of oil supertankers, but going from skinny to stacked usually gets a good reaction. Also, be very careful of anything that involves sex switching to any degree. You might think there could be few things more embarrassing for an NFL cheerleader than to suddenly sprout an 18" erect penis out of her hot pants, and you'd probably be right. Something like that, however, will freak out a large portion of your readership if they're not expecting it almost as much as it would freak out the cheerleader in question! |
