I'm still curious about the phone call to you from the cop's son. If your wife called the cop's cell phone, how do you think the son knew about that at 3am? And how do you think the son came into possession of the cell phone and searched the call history to determine your home phone? The cop likely took the cell phone to work. That's why we have them.

Wow, so your insinuating that I'm bullshitting? I can think of a million things to do rather than create some fiction for an Internet forum. What I described, really happened. I don't know why the kid would call back at 3 something in the am, but heres a few random thoughts that I want to mention and counter:
People leave home without cell phones. It's called being forgetful. Second, the kid was the type that would do shit like this. In other words, being an intrusive little shit was par for the course. Finally, I'm sold that she blew him for the following 2 reasons: the guy had a rep for being on the take. And, the payback blowjob she gave me that night, complete with a sexy nightie. She's never donned the lingerie just for a BJ. So, you may ask, why don't I come out and ask her. Seriously? Even if Ive convinced her that I would love to see her perform head on another guy, shes not going to admit to past transgressions. As long as their is plausible deniability, people will lie their ass off in order to save it. It's just human nature.

I do admit that your story sets off my BS detector and my response is to look more closely - particularly when invited to do so. I do the same if a smoke detector goes of in the house - look a little closer before calling the firemen.

The BS needle jumps every time you mention the side-story of the son. Such extremely atypical behavior. The more you say, the less plausible that piece becomes. Kids gaming at 3am typically wear earphones which would completely obscure a cellphone ringing in an adjacent room. If they use open speakers instead, it would be most likely behind closed doors to avoid the wrath of other family members. Open speakers behind closed doors would obscure a cellphone ringing in another room.

You draw a picture of the kid gaming under those conditions and still hearing the cellphone. By chance, the dad leaves the phone behind when he goes to meet your wife. By chance, the son assumes dad forgot his phone, stops gaming, hunts the phone down, opens call history and decides to call the last number and confront whoever answers. To me, this is not plausible, and reduces the plausibility of the rest of the story accordingly.
