More:

The first is a routine featuring Beryl Wallace and Pinky Lee (ask your grandfather about him);

The second feature Mary Martin (Larry Hagman's mother) doing a variety of stripteases over the years;

The last is from a burlesque-oriented play titled Good Night, Ladies (1943).

Enjoy!

The last photo (the woman who's lost her skirt on the train), is from an early Jane movie. The full clip is on OCC, in one of the Jane/Glynis Barber threads (in the Sexy Videos section).

Here's a set of fun photos where a cute WWII-era WAVE loses her pants during some surfside horseplay...even though we don't get to see anything in the way of panties, it's still pretty sexy.:)

Anybody know where the old Jane comic strips can be found?

cartoonjoe2004 12-29-2011 09:41 AM

There's not really a whole lot about the comic strip you can find online, although there is a newspaper archive or two out there that has digitized reprints of the Daily Mirror (the paper that Jane was published in).

There are a few reprint volumes of the strip, most of them concentrating on the WWII years, including the most recent, The Misadventures of Jane, which was published in 2009 and can be found easily on Amazon and Google.

Good luck!
