This thread reminds me of a movie I saw many years ago...I know I rented it from the video store probably around the early 1990's and I know I found it in the older video section. I have tried to find the video but I have yet to be successful.

There was a scene in the movie where a lady(middle-aged...guessing around 40) was tied to the pool table in her panties...I believe she had a bra on which was eventually cut off first. The scene was a darker scene(as far as lighting)...I believe there was a light above the pool table and I don't think there was much other light in the scene. The guy I am pretty sure had a mustache(longer...not very well groomed)...and he may have been unshaven(the look of not having shaved for two to four days)...but I am foggy on that detail. He was either smoking a cigar or a cigarette...I am remembering a cigar. I remember the guy used a rather large knife...almost like fairly good sized hunting knife and he cut of the bra first and then he finally got around to removing the panties.

I know this is as clear as mud so maybe no one has a clue...I would say this probably would be an 80's movie maybe even a 70's film but that is just a guess. Unfortunately, I don't remember anything else at this time.

If I had to pair with another movie around the same time period, I would put it with Swashbuckler(1976) which has Robert Shaw and James Earl Jones in it also with Geneviève Bujold who dives off the ship naked to go swimming. Or another movie I group with the one I am trying to remember is Enigma(1983) with Brigitte Fossey who I believe finds herself either naked or at the very least scantily clad somewheres in the movie.

It was a Peter Benchley movie about diving for treasure starring Nick Nolte, Robert Shaw, Louis Gossett, Jr. and the woman was Jacqueline Bisset. I haven't seen the film in years but you description made me think of it immediately. If it's not THE scene you're looking for, it's extremely similar but I think it was a voodoo ritual or something.

a little bit ago and unfortunately there isn't a scene with a lady tied to a pool table where a man comes with a big knife and cuts off her bra and maybe her panties.

However, there is the voodoo ritual where some guy comes in a mask and and cuts Bisset's nightgown and then paints her up and down with a bloody chicken foot.
