I am 99% certain that this pic is taken from the carriage road that goes around Eagle Lake in Acadia National Park, near highway 233.

That would be Jordan Pond,facing north. Those are the Bubbles (North and South Bubble Mountains) in the background. How appropriate!

It sucks...Acadia had a nice skinny dipping pond, Lake Wood, until some #$%& ranger made them stop the nudity.
