Thanks. I'll prob leave it for now until I have a bit more time. There's not enough good vids out there yet so wouldn't really be worth making a new thread yet. Thanks anyway.

Real Player 11 Has Built In Downloader

I know people have had problems with real player in the past, But the new Real Player11 has a built in downloader that let's u record video from streaming sites like youtube. Great feature that will make grabbing all of the great clips alot easier. I just tried it on Youtube and a little window shows up above the vid that says: DOWNLOAD.... and u can set the file folder you want it to download to. Worked great!!!! Hope this is helpful info...... :) :)

I have 11 but I don't see a downloader in it anywhere. Where do I find that feature?

Open real player 11 and at the top go to "Tools" click on it and then choose "Preferences" and at the bottom on the left is "Download and Recording" choose the file you want to save videos to. Then make sure the box is checked to Enable Download and Recording. That should do the trick. Once you go to a page with a video like Youtube, you can put your pointer over the video and a little real player bar will show up above video for you to record. Real cool feature. Good luck!!!.....Woodnut

Figured I should post this here as well...

1.) This is the ultimate youtube video downloader. You just pop the username into this free program and it gives you the ability to download all or handpicked videos that the user has in one simple step. Now here's the beautiful part...i automatically names your videos with the username__title__videoid.flv in tact so you can be totally organized without even thinking about it. It's called Tubemall and is available at http://tubemall.net

2.) This is a must download... It's called ytbuddy and is also completely free...it checks your subscriptions every few minutes (or however often you tell it to) and downloads everything you are subscribed to with a preview picture. It also, names everything with the username__title__videoid.flv format so you don't have to worry about it...Now you don't have to worry about missing that golden video while you were sleeping. It is also from this website http://tubemall.net

3.) And the last great tool here is called "undeletube". If you want to view a video on youtube that was removed you can plug the video id into this "undeletube" viewer here: hxxp://tubemall.net/undeletube.php ...it works most of the time if the video was just removed recently. They also have a dail vids page that has what other people have been popping into undeletube. http://tubemall.net/daily.php

Cheers

links to a download of Firecoresoft application Lovev downloader. I have been using this for about a week and it works like a charm. There are some websites that prevent downloading but Viemo, Dailymotion and Youtube works every time.

I am not sure how to bring this to the attention of others as this is off topic to the site(s) themselves.

Caveat: when installing pay particular attention to the extraneous software options!

I myself have been using Freemake's Free Video Downloader lately:

freemake.com/free_video_downloader/

Clipconverter.cc is another good site.

I've been using it for 1-2 years now. Far better and faster than KeepVid.
