Facebook is challenging Flickr by adding support for unlimited high-resolution photos, plus a new photo viewer and uploader, which are rolling out throughout October to all users. Facebook images can now be as big as 2048 pixels at the image's largest side, compared to the 720-pixel Facebook standard.

I assume most non-tech-savvy people just upload the full camera resolution images, so this means all their photos will be bigger. Also wondering whether they have been storing larger photos of what was already out there (like all the photos in this thread) and if they will increase their size.

That's great news!

As for storing photos of larger size, I don't think they do. As when you upload photos it's compresses them at your end first before sending them. As my photos are normally between 5-7MB each, but I can upload around 100 in 3min.

A few. Not as good as most other hunters here but it's something i guess.

I have a question for everyone: Is there a script somewhere for Firefox so that the entire wall are loaded in one page? I hate that i have to click on "older posts" all the time, it would be so much easier if all posts was shown direct.
