The pharmacy area is near the check out lanes, there some guy attempted to sell me a prescription drug plan that would save me thousands on my drugs. At least if I was on any.

When we check out, the lady checking us out asked me to open a credit card account, because it would save me a lot of money on this purchase. When I told her no, she wanted to argue with me some more and tell me I get a special discount on gasoline there if I use the card, blah, blah, blah.

She wants to continue on , so I set the cash down and begin to walk away with my cart full of food. She hurry's up, places the cash in the drawer and has to chase after me with the receipt. She knows I could not walk out the door without the magic paper and she would get in trouble for not giving it to me.

My wife knows I am pissed and thinking in the strategic strike mode, so she leads me out to the pickup truck where the food is then placed. She kisses me on the cheek and tells me how proud she is that I did not loose my temper and yell at anyone. I then walk her over to the Homegoods store and tell her to buy whatever she wants to decorate for the holidays. I'll be back, I'm going to the sporting goods store and will meet her shortly.
