Philly Naked Bike Ride! Post 762
Ref the pic in Post 762 - hats off to stevin6 for finding pics likely from the same event - the Philly Naked Bike Ride! The hint that is was in Philadelphia from poster VR2 was huge, of course.
To place the location a little more accurately, StreetView on Google Earth from 39° 58'0.22" N 75° 7'45.54"W looking through the trees across the Delaware River yields about the same relationship between the two tallest buildings on the skyline in the background in the pic. That seems to be the Camden County City Hall on the right and what looks like a phone company switching building with the antenna at the top at the corner of Haddon Ave at Federal Street on the left . The pic was likely taken at Penn Treaty Park in Philadelphia looking pretty much south. I could not really locate the spot for certain with the accuracy I would have liked but I believe, based on the green paint on the crumbling asphalt in the pic, that it was somewhere around 39°57'55.42"N 75° 7'46.47"W - near the green paint area visible in the current Google Earth image. |

Ref the pics in post 768 - This is in Timmonsville, SC on the ramp from Center Road to I-95 S. The facility is the Honda of South Carolina manufacturing facility. You can get this view (less the cutie) from 34° 6'42.59"N 79°54'42.64"W looking west.

Guys, come on!! Ref the pics in Post 795, this is in the Green Mountain National Forest (not Park) and this particular spot is 15 miles north of Rutland, VT.
This location is at 43°50'25.89"N 72°57'45.30"W. Google Earth has good Street View of the location but there is a Subaru Forester parked right in front of the sign making it a little harder to get a view of the sign that will allow an easy confirmation. There is no doubt that this is the spot, though. |

Ref the pic in Post 793 – Hats off to Titfreak - that would have taken me a while to identify that as Nashville. But thanks to that I now have the iconic Nashville AT&T tower in the tool box.
The pic appears to have been taken on I-24 around 36°10'27.85"N 86°46'14.86"W. Google Earth has good Street View imagery from there. Just pan around to the north pretty much right over Titans stadium and you have the view – less the cutie, of course. |
