A question for Joe -
Where did you learn the phrase "Bollocks" as screamed by Miss Periwinkle? I didn't think it was used in the States. |
It's not...indeed, I picked up the term from the internet (and I know what it means...YOW!!:eek:)
I've been trying to convey, through her dialog, that Our Miss Perriwinkle hails from England, but I'm afraid I didn't do such a good job of it...I know how she sounds in my head, but I'm unsure if it comes out that way in the writing. But with what just happened to her in that particular episode (unintentionally dissed by Mr. Hardcoch after working herself into a frazzle putting the assembly together, plus being doused with some {probably foul-smelling} water) Miss Perriwinkle uttered the only thing that summed up her feelings at that moment...and can you blame her? |

Yeah, I was going for a more subtle bit of characterization...
|
You are more successful than you think, Joe - I am British born and I picked up straight away that she was meant to be British.
|
.
Ironically, for that comic strip that cost $20, the first line of dialogue is "Someone is going to pay for this".

Birthday Girl!

The just released DC's Knight and Squire #6 introduced an awesome new character I'm sure everyone around here should appreciate: Birthday Girl! Her super power seems to be convenient object placement

I remember a good ENF with Jubilee in the 5th issue of an X-Men Unlimited comic. The Shi'ar break into the mansion in the middle of the night and she gets out of bed wearing a pink long t-shirt. one shot had her trying to pull it down to cover herself up with an angry look on her face. I don't have the comicbook anymore and can't seem to find the picture online anywhere.

Going to the Gallows

This is from an artist named "Dolcett." Though her artwork carries many ENF themes they also depict what could be viewed fetishized violence toward women. I find it sexy, though I understand how some would think it repulsive. I thought I'd share. Apologies in advance if it's inappropriate.
In this picture, a woman has been stripped nude and faces death by hanging. |
@sporzem
what comic was that? u have a link? |
