We are all doing very well, thank you for asking. Our daughter is 100% her mom :) and growing fast!
We have a full house at the moment, too. I never mentioned it here, but L and her girlfriends are teachers. L was quite happy not to go back after our daughter, though. The girlfriends went back to their hometowns after graduation and were quite miserable. We live in a large city, and there are always open teaching opportunities here. Long story short, they moved here last Summer... and moved in with us, temporarily, while they saved money and started adulting.
So, I've had a house full of three women and one little lady. It honestly has been nice... and I'm afraid to admit that it is a little hard to remember how things were before :). Having the "aunts" here who are also teachers has its upside. The downside is that I've had more clogged drains with long hair than I thought was ever possible. I've told them that I'll still love them when they are bald (well, I do love them bald... just not the idea of it being their heads :D)
When I have time, I'll share some pool stories. It started off a little slowly last Summer, but they quickly followed L's lead ;) |
