Older members of OCC will remember Bob Goldstein's SCREW magazine---or more accurately a tabloid newspaper published weekly in New York City. I would pick it up when ever I visited the city because not only did it give all the local adult movies, it did "reviews" of massage parlors, swingers' clubs, pick-up bars, strip clubs and even adult book stores as to the quality of their 25 cent movie booths and llive dancing girls, nude of course. It was the publication to read--and offered insights into new adult venues and those that were rip-offs.

He had the first photos from the movie Deep Throat, and nude photos of Jackie Kennedy and others.

One of my favorites was a report on a nude beach at one extreme of the Rockaway Beaches. He sent someone out there and they came back with a couple of photos, taken without notice, obviously. Back then, if you were caught taking photos on a nude beach, you may have not lived to get the photos developed.

After looking a LOT, I found these but it is the next ones that I want to share.

As you could see from the last post, most of the beach crowd was male and dressed for swimming. Either they were gay as was true on some nearby beaches, or these were guys who heard about the nude beach and came to see naked girls--who appeared to be few in number.

Even so, if you were female at this particular nude beach, you HAD to want guys to see you stark naked because you would be outnumbered hundreds to one. I suspect most brought a male friend for protection or came with a couple of girls just to play it safe.

That said, what if you, a young girl, wanted to be seen buck naked and went there for attention? What if you were not attractive to many but you figured stark naked you would still get a lot of attention? So, on a pretty day, when you knew all your bosses were at work or all the students you taught in school would be in class, you went to the nude beach and stripped, showing your full nakedness to the hundreds of guys there, all wanting to find some naked female flesh---especially bush since you did not see any pubic hair in the men's magazines of the time.

Then, to your surprise and fury, there is a guy taking your photo! Is he taking your photo---of you completely naked?

Do you think this young lady is happy? This appeared in SCREW for all the guys to see.

She had better get with the program,its a NUDE beach,in the park its different bcuz they arent very sure what is being exposed,at the beach you know the goods is out there even begging to be noticed....and yes I remember those days and nites on 42nd street also 34th street ....havent been to one o those booths or clubs in a while....some of them have been dis-banded since the MOB Mayor took over...I think he was suffering from ED and becomes jealous of guys who can enjoy such amenities...
