Two more pics I just found. As promised, the first is one of the girls that missed the painting party, so she ran off to get painted and joined the parade on foot. Then, ironically, the same album had a good pic of the girl I just requested, except the bottom of the photo crops out the most crucial part! Also, sadly, it shows that while she's minimally painted, she appears to be wearing panties under her flower belt. Oh well, my request still stands for more and better pics.

Some of these posed pics (the post above and below) are quite nice.

Klondike, delay's original request implied there was a story about these two girls arriving late and rushing to put their paint on. However, I couldn't find any story in this thread. What was their deal?

Also, you mentioned that you thought they put bottoms on for the ride. That may or may not be the case, but I don't think we have ANY photos of them during the ride. Any idea of why that might be?

I was mistaken I think about them putting bottoms on. At least the one pic I have of one of them riding does not support that.

Sorry, I don't know about the story, but they probably showed up at Hale's by mistake!

Ok, I've been sifting thru my painting party pics for the first time. This is really the first full day I've had back in Portland. First off, let me just say a big thanks to Flanker7 and others for bringing forward all these great Flickr pics. If I had time, I would try to do a head count like in past years, but I'm still trying to get to know the girls right now.

At Gasworks Park, there were four or five groups that were HEAVILY photographed. You can see from a couple of recent posts how much some of those pics look like mine - us photogs were standing inches a part in some cases, breathing on each others necks practically. A real feeding frenzy.
