I'm considering going to the London and Brighton rides, but what really appeals is the idea of persuading bystanders or riders who are wearing underwear to flash. Seeing the shyer girls who maybe get caught up in the moment has always been my thing. Any suggestions on how best to do this? Obviously it needs to be done in a friendly and gentle way so as not to upset anyone. A good line of reasoning for my request would definitely help, especially as there will already be many naked people around so I'm looking for some justification why I want them to show the goods.

You guess correctly - I've yet to hear "flattered", but have heard "alarmed", "uncomfortable" and "disturbed" from a rider who's featured prominently here.

Let's make this a more positive place :)

Only a few days until Manchester, and up to now me ,the wife and her best mate Jenny are all doing it! The girls are looking forward to it, but are a bit apprehensive of taking everything off, so we have made a pact that if one of us goes fully nude, we all do, I shall defo make sure that happens!

Good luck with the ride, you will all get carried away with the buzz, it's a great feeling for the first few minutes and then you almost forget you have nothing on! Knowing you have challenged the ladies to bare all will make it even more exciting......for us too:D

Wouldn't say grim. London looks like it'll be quite warm and probably dry. Currently saying 18C with a chance of light rain for Brighton - exactly like last year. It stayed dry then and the turnout was higher than for the gloriously sunny and hot 2014 ride. So the weather doesn't have as much bearing on the success of WNBR as you might think.

London always seems to be luckiest with the weather, Manchester folk seem to be hardy whatever the weather up there. The only down side at Brighton is a forecast of a strong breeze that will prevent many taking part in the traditional post ride skinny-dipping:mad:

When I say grim I mean rain which is quite popular in Britain.

Can I check the Hyde Park depart time, it's 3pm right? The Facebook page says the event starts at 2pm (I'm guessing that's when you can start to assemble, not depart?)...
