Intimate Proposal
C and J first met in a vintage shop slash bar where they spent two hours reading tarot cards to strangers and drinking wine. Two months later they were travelling around together in their van. After J proposed to C earlier in the year, C decided it was time to return the gesture and spent the next months planning a meaningful proposal and intimate shoot to treat her lady. She decided to keep the proposal as an intimate, private moment between the two of them at their favourite campsite on the north coast. They camped out with their van and then made their way down the coast. |

C had booked the most magical off-grid cabin for a few nights, literally in the middle of nowhere. After spending a few days horse riding, swimming and exploring the wild surroundings of the cabin, I met them out there one afternoon for their shoot. |

They had settled into the slow rhythm of the country, and we spent a few hours exploring the property, drinking wine in bed, dancing, reading books, drinking more wine in the bath, and running nude across the backyard. It really makes you realise that you don’t need much more than a hot bath and a cute person to spoon to make you happy. It was the perfect way to celebrate their engagement and document the intimacy and love between them. |

“We are intimately in love, with an absurd admiration for each other. Both of us believe we are the luckiest woman in the world for having found one another. We can be completely ourselves, and every aspect of our individual personalities has a match in the other. There’s a million goddesses in all of us, a creek witch and an art curator and a grubby five year old playing in the mud and a wise old professor who hosts dinner parties on Wednesdays. We have found the magical combination of the same goddesses on the same days.” |
