I know it wasn't your intention, but that's how it can be perceived since you didn't originally link the original. So, thank you for doing that now. However, I feel like you should add a disclaimer that said these chapters were in fact originally posted in "The Humiliation of Katie" chyoa and were mostly written by Unitman2 since it isn't obvious on the introduction chapter and the description of the story you posted.

I understand what you wanted to do, and these chapters do lend themselves to a separate story, buthere is some advice for you and anyone else who wants to repost stories:

In this community of writers, it's always best to ask permission of the original author and give credit if you're going to repost their work anywhere. It's not just so writers get credit, it's also so they can keep track of where their work goes, so if someone were to post their work to a pay site or someone copied the text and sold it as an e-book, they would have an idea where the leak came from.

Even though it's highly unlikely writers would care about stories posted one short chapter at a time on a free interactive story site, it's a courtesy to the writers to give them a head's up instead of letting them find it on their own.

Is there a way to find out if there are chapters added on a story without always going on the site and checking everytime?

On chyoa.com, near the bottom of every chapter you go to has a star icon on the right. If you click on it, the story will be added to your favorites, and you'll receive notifications in the menu.

Unfortunately, you have to go to the site to check your notifications periodically. There is no other way of receiving notifications that I know of other than checking the site. At least when you have notifications, there will be a red balloon with the number of notifications you have in the upper right, so it takes only a second to tell if you have any. I check about 3 times a day: morning, afternoon, and night.

You can also use tags to see when a story in the category you are interested in has been updated. Means going to the site still but quicker than scrolling down a story that has grown to hundreds of chapters and also checks multiple stories at one time. E.g.

https://chyoa.com/tag/ENF

Thanks for the help. But what about writing.com?

Writing.com is similar, in that you need to "favorite" a story, but if you add a chapter to it and check the box that says "Notify my off-site email when someone else adds to this story" and make sure your off site email is where you want notifications to be sent, yolk be sent an email every time a new chapter is posted. Otherwise, you have to favorite it by first make sure you're on the desktop/full site if you're on a mobile device. Then you just need to click the icon on the upper right that's to the left of the envelope icon. It should change to look like a hand pointing. It will now appear in your favorite stories page!

On your favorite stories page, it lists the stories that have most recently had chapters added to at the top. To see the recent additions, click they link next to the story title that has "recent additions" in brackets, and the page will list the most recently added chapters on top as well as the choice sequence to arrive at the chapter so you know the path as shown in the story outline to get to the chapter.

Hope that isn't too confusing

eplefrek 06-14-2017 05:08 PM

On chyoa you get a link to the chapther that was added. Is that possible to do on writing.com? Because I can only see that there has been added chapters on writing.com, then I need to go through every part to try and find the new one.

From your "favorites" page, it lists the stories that have been recently added to. Next to each title are two links. One is "story outline" and the other is "recent chapters" if you click the "recent chapters" link, it lists the recently added chapters with the most recent being on the top. Under the chapter title is a sequence of numbers, which correspond to the choice numbers that lead to that chapter, so if you wanted to read the chapters prior to that one, you'd have to click the "story outline" link and match the number sequence to the outline.

Thank you. I didn't know you had a favorites page.... I was just on the front page and saw all my favorite stories and how long ago they had another chapter added.

Interesting new story over at CHYOA:

https://chyoa.com/story/Naked-at-College.12446

It's set in a world where nudity is legal, but still not socially acceptable. The characters are still embarrassed but nobody seems to be stopping / reporting / arresting them. I'm going to try to add a chapter or two in the next few days.

Anonegg 07-07-2017 02:05 PM

Hey guys,

If anyone is interested in adding chapters to WriterPerson's "NudeTube" story, could you instead add it to "YouTubers try exhibitionism"?

https://chyoa.com/story/YouTubers-tr...itionism.12533

Although the premise is different, it kind of annoys me that WriterPerson has basically written 17 'placeholder' chapters, which aren't actually content. They're just an organisation tool for other writers to write the story for him. Meanwhile the guy who created the YouTubers story has written 30+ actual chapters, with actual stories, and is being largely ignored.

Anonegg 07-07-2017 02:10 PM

On a related note, does anyone know if it's possible to delete chapters that you've written on CHYOA?

Since I'm the only one contributing to the Kat Dennings / Permanently Naked story, I want to save it as my own separate story and delete the chapters I've written as part of the Permanently story.

At the end of the chapter, click on the three dots, then "Edit Chapter". On the next screen, on the right-hand side there should be an option that says "Delete Chapter" in red font, under "Guidelines".

I'm enjoying what you're writing for the Kat Dennings story. I'm also the only one contributing to the Daisy Ridley thread. Took the alternate idea and ran with it, but now I'm not sure how to go forward haha.

Hey, I added to the Daisy Ridley thread as well. I want this story to take off, there's so many open chapters. It seems like all of CHYOA has been kind of dead lately, at least in the ENF kind of thing.

Anonegg 07-31-2017 04:26 PM

Hey guys,

I've found two new Chyoa stories if anyone is interested:

https://chyoa.com/story/Stripped-by-Family.12886

The Emily thread is about 40-ish chapters deep, and is pretty enjoyable. The rest aren't anywhere near as developed, but still interesting possibilities.

https://chyoa.com/story/The-Rulebook.12968

Has some ENF potential, although so far most of the stories have sexual content to them.

Writerperson and I have decided to combine our stories together, so all of the Permanently Naked Ladies chapters that had chapters attached, and many of the dead-end chapters, have been moved to my Celebrity ENF story.

Last I checked, the Daisy Ridley chapters haven't been moved yet though.

Thanks for the first one. I think I saw it, but didn't favorite it for some reason. Here are some other new ones that have potential. Some of these could be reposts, but I figure they're worth a second look in case they've been overlooked or forgotten:

Harry Potter parody

There was an ENF story I remember reading, which was pretty much a parody of Harry Potter, but I can't find it anywhere. It wasn't Barry Snotter, and it starred either an alternate-Hermione or a female alt-Harry. One scene I remember is when the female Slytherin-expy antagonist is disguised as an upper-year prefect and has the main characters run around the castle naked as part of an initiation. Of course, she steals their clothes and reveals that she has the perfect tied up and stripped naked. If anyone can help find it, I would be very grateful.

Anonegg 08-04-2017 01:28 PM

Another new one (I haven't read this yet so can't speak for it's quality or content):

https://chyoa.com/story/Laura%27s-Humiliation.13054

And a fanfiction based on The Incredibles, but seems to have some enf content:

Yeah, just read Laura's Humiliation... it's pretty much a [non-consensual sex] fantasy. I'd remove it from my original message but I don't know how.

Interesting. Looks like the author of that Incredibles one copied their chapters from one's they posted to writerperson's Stripped on Screen story. I mean, it's their chapters, so I suppose they can do that.

I saw that, but she does credit the original author. It's just at the bottom of each chapter. Not sure how to respond.

I didn't see that until now.

I honestly need to stop posting here the instant I see something. I felt like shit when WriterPerson got in touch about my comments before, written when I was in a bad mood. NakedKorra just got in touch about this now, and to be honest I don't mind that much.

I had no intention of carrying all this stuff over from Writing.com, and it's only going to stagnate there. Moving it over to CHYOA is the smart idea, and they're doing all the work for me. I guess I'm not too bothered.

ewong247 08-08-2017 08:35 PM

Don't sweat it, Anonegg. We all make mistakes sometimes. Your heart is in the right place. Just don't be too quick to judge. You're a great writer, and I hope to see more stuff from you. Whether it's in chyoa, the ASN storyboard, or even here.

Anonegg 09-05-2017 01:59 PM

Hey guys,

I've been on vacation for the past two weeks and for some reason my mobile company blocks me from viewing CHYOA. It turned out to be a minor blessing because I re-visited the CYOS site and I found a new story:

http://editthis.info/create_your_own...sing_Adventure

I think some of the other stories over there - like Naked In Public, Public Nudity and Oops! You're Naked - have had some new chapters added as well, although again it's impossible to find anything over there.

ewong247 09-15-2017 07:19 AM

Hey, nahdude.

Palpatin and I (along with a couple other folks) have been brainstorming that particular thread, so glad you're enjoying it.

Panther aspect of moving thing from writing.com, you're on the right track by looking for permission directly from the authors. However, I'd still feel bad if they don't check the site, and haven't posted in a long time, and their work is copied elsewhere. But yes, permission is best. Of you can, seeing sending then a message every week for a month or two garners anything.

Anyone else have something to say?

Got your back, jack:

https://chyoa.com/story/Stripped-by-Family.12886/map

https://chyoa.com/story/Naked-at-College.12446/map

For what it's worth I really like the way you've handled public nudity in Naked in College; it allows for the girls to be embarrassed by their lack of clothing while also allowing their adventures to remain legal. Definitely my favourite story at the moment :)

I'll agree that there's a lot of good stories on Writing.com (and also the lesser known CYOA) which are going to waste, although contacting the original writers will be tricky since both sites are pretty much dead. I might have suggested dropping a message across a couple of ENF sites like ASN Story Board and Iionly's Beach Club but that might come across as spammy.

A really liked Nothing to Hide, but felt I was spending too much of my time writing on it. So I deleted my account, but was unaware the stories I made would just disappear. In some ways I like Lauern's Little Secret more, but there was some really good stuff lost forever in that one.

I've been trying to get back into Writing.com... I feel like I've hit dead ends on all my Chyoa chapters at the moment... but this "Server Busy" nonsense is getting on my nerves. I was planning to add another chapter to Heather's Adventure but I've spent the last twenty fives minutes refreshing.
