A nudist camp contest

I would hate to make this my first post in the community, but does anybody know who she is?

Out of all of the contestants, she stands out the most. I like the raven-black hair styled in the signature 80's ponytail, paired with those high-heeled boots. A slim and fit, but natural, body that is free from modifications.

I'm wondering if there's any more pics of her, but I would not be surprised if this contest was her only nude set. Shame though, as she must be in her 50's since the pictures were taken back in 84'.

She did NAP just about every year from the late 90's through late 2000's, and even did a short stint in the jizz biz.

Ms. Nude America pageants in San Jose, CA. (early 1980's)
 

Does anybody remember the Ms. Nude America pageants at San Jose's Center for the Performing Arts in the early eighties??

They were organized by a guy named Danny Zezzo. I remember seeing a pictorial spread in some men's magazine but I can't remember which one. The pageants were vigorously protested by feminists and eventually Zezzo quit promoting them. He later got into legal trouble like Dick Drost.

In response to DanShocker #393, these are all from the same competition. I believe that the Queen was called Maureen and the Princess was Kathy. Kathy was also Princess at the Olive Dell Roundup Pagent held in 1961 (I'l post these later for comparison) and she looks around the same age to me. As for location, the raised cement swimming pool (in the background of some of the pictures) indicates that it was held at the Oakleaf Ranch in Wilton, California. The competitors were regulars at the contests held in California at the time so it may be a WSA convention.

Here's the Olive Dell Round for 1961, which also featured Kathy and in this case the winner of this competion was Donna Scott. Incidentaly the last one is actually a sketch that someone did of Kathy.

As I understand it Olive Dell wasn't affiliated to ASA or to WSA (because of their alcohol policy) - So they ran their own competitions - An annual Roundup and a Pow Wow, which was also held at other locations in California.

I know that many of these pictures have already been posted. What I'm trying to do is to group those from the same competion together and also to identify the location and the (approximate) year. If anyone is interested I can post more sets of pictures that belong to the same pageant.

Miss Nude Rodeo - 1973
 

The first picture in the Count's post is of the Miss Nude Rodeo held at the Treehouse Ranch in September 1973. Here's a few others from the same competition (more to follow).

The First one is of Debbie Steinseifer who won the Miss Nude International competition (held the previous month) who presented the trophies. She also won Miss Nude USA in 1975.

ASA Convention 1962
 

These are all from the ASA Convention held in 1962 at Oakdale in California (later to be named the Treehouse Ranch). The blond with the fantastic figure in the middle of the first picture is Rosie Jones (a stalward of the naturist movement).

WSA Convention - 1961
 

A few pictures from the WSA Convention held at the Lazy K Ranch in California in 1961. The winner was Jeanne Kirkwood (being crowned by Rosie Jones in the last picture) - she must hold the record for entering more nudist pageants than anyone else (She appears in various competions between 1959 and 1967).

Out of interest I've been trying to piece together details of some of the Treehouse contests from various bits if information. I guess that there was a Miss Nude USA 1973 (Barbara Winters) and also a Miss Nude International 1973 (Debbie Stenseifer/Taylor). Later on (from 1980) I think the top Treehouse contest became known as Ms Nude International USA.

I’m having a similar problem in sorting out the Treehouse pageants. I’ll post how I think they pan out year by year in the hope that someone has better information and can put me right.

First a bit of history - prior to 1965, contests were usually run by the ASA (American Sunbathing Association), one of it’s regions (WSA, ESA, MSA, NSA) or a breakaway organisation (ANA etc). Some clubs (like the Olive Dell Ranch) ran their own pageants, which were open to members from other clubs, but perhaps the first national competitions open to non-nudists were the Miss Nude Universe pageants started by Mel and Ann Hocker in 1965. These were actually held at Oakdale Ranch, which was the earlier name for Treehouse.

The 1965 competition had a space theme (below), 1966 was Roman and 1967 Mayan (examples in next post). After 1967 the resort started to lose money and no competitions were held until it was sold to Bill and Fran Flesher in 1972. They changed the name of the club to The Treehouse Fun Ranch, upgraded the facilities and began holding the famous Treehouse pageants.

I believe that the first one was a Miss Nude Cosmos pageant in 1972 followed in 1973 by at least three competions in one year - the first Miss Nude USA contest, a Miss Nude International followed by a Miss Nude Rodeo. There may even have been a Miss Nude California pageant held in the same year, but someone may be able to correct me on that. I think that there was only one further Miss Nude Cosmos competition (in 1974), and no more Miss Nude Rodeo’s. But they continued to hold annual Miss Nude California and Miss Nude USA pageants into the 1980’s. I haven’t found pictures of any competitions after 1982 but I’m sure that there were later contests. There are also a few pageants that I still can’t place, but I’ll post a few pictures from each with what I propose to be the appropriate year.

In 1977 the Flesher’s were served with an injunction, preventing them from using the name “Miss Nude USA” because the organisers of the Miss USA pageant thought that it clashed with their name, so they changed it to Miss Nude International (USA).

To start off here is the first Miss Nude Universe pageant held in 1965 when the place was still called Oakdale. Unfortunately I don’t know the name of the winner but Mel Hocker (and his wife) is with her in the last picture (sorry about that!).

Here are a few pictures from the Miss Nude Universe competions held in 1966 Roman (first 6 pics) and 1967 Mayan (last 4 pics). I don't know the name of the winner in '66 but (as most people know) Kelly Everts won in 67'.

Most of these have been posted before so I've just included some sample pics from each (if anyone wants me to post all that I have then let me know).

There is a slight error in one of my earlier posts (#601): I said that no pageants were held at Oakdale/Treehouse after the Miss Nude Universe competition in 1967, until the club was taken over by the Fleshers in 1972. This is incorrect because a Miss Nude Cosmos competion was held most years between 1968 and 1971 although many of them were poorly attended and pictures are hard to come by.

All I have is two pictures from a contest held during the late 1960's (I don't know the year) and one of the winner of the 1970 contest. If anyone has any more it would be great to see them.

I'll post pictures from Miss Nude Cosmos 1972 tomorrow.

Although most of these pictures have been posted before, I'm going to include all that I have from this competition (in four posts). Many of them come from a magazine scan (which confirms the date of this pageant), but I've cut off the ugly black boarders and enhanced them a little to make "things" clearer. As with all of this series of posts, credit should be to the origial posters (from this and other sites), particularly sniffles77 who posted (post #476) a rare snap (second picture) of the pageant from a distance - I hope that he doesn't mind that I zoomed in a bit.

You can see from the third picture that the pool sign still has the Oakdale name on it, which makes sense because I believe that the pageant was held in August 1972 and the Fleshers didn't take the club over and call it the "Treehouse Fun Ranch" until October. First the group pictures...
