As I wrote in the past, in Luxemburg or in Germany (Trier), in spas, it is very common for women to shave their pubic hair. Some women, usually the younger ones, leave some larger or smaller stripe, all the others have a full shave including the pubic mound. Over the last 3-5 years it has become more and more popular. We also visited in August 2024, a large naturist resort (Cap d'Agde in South of France), in this resort full nudity is allowed in the entire resort and also respected by most visitors. The first morning at our arrival walking around the resort, we saw mostly couples ,families and solo men, no solo women. A lot of them spoke German or Dutch. We were 'surprised' at first to see that nearly all women, regardless if in couple or with their families, had no pubic hair. My wife Joelle had a neatly trimmed bush, more than the classic bikini line. We saw 3 beauty salons offering full pubic waxing for women and men. She decided to get an appointment at a beauty salon to have at least removed a larger part of her pubic hair. She asked the esthetician to remove all her pubic hair and just leave a stripe on the pubic mound. At first her pubic hair was shorn to stubble with electric clippers and then the was was applied, during the waxing the esthetician eplained her that it will look nicer when the pubic mound is also fully smooth., she agreed with it The waxing took +- 30 min, When she looked herself in a wall mirror in the salon she didn't liked it at first, She felt more nude as everything was visible, the outer labia and even a part of the clitoral hood. The esthetician explained her that in her opinion women removing all pubic hair are more self confident to show themselves nude in the resort, women keeping pubic hair are not fully nude in her opinion. She told Joelle that she will get used to it rapidly because nobody will stare at her in Cap d'Agde and it has become the norm over the last 6-7 summers.

My local sauna is small and shabby, nothing fancy at all, but every time I go, I'm guaranteed to see a couple of absolutely spectacular women. Yesterday was no exception.

It had something for everybody - tall, lean brunettes, a cute little East Asian twentysomething with a great butt, a knockout blonde of about 20 with huge, perfect natural boobs on a slender frame... You get the picture.

But there was one in particular that caught my attention. I'd seen her there once before, she's hard to forget. Probably late twenties. She has eyes like Ana de Armas, although she doesn't really look like her otherwise. I heard her speak Russian yesterday, so I guess that's where she's from. Average height, and a perfect, slim body with no extra fat on it. She's gorgeous, but in a butter-wouldn't-melt-in-her-mouth way. Quite innocent-looking.

But what makes her stand out isn't her looks, others there were objectively as attractive. It's her confidence. The first time I saw her, I noticed that she was just very comfortable in her own skin. Everybody there is, more or less, but she seems to delight in skipping around naked, and it's very appealing.

Anyway, yesterday I found out just how confident she was. I entered one of the saunas, where there were three or four other guys and her. It's L-shaped, with three rows of benches, and I sat on the top row, at right angles to her. She was on the middle bench, elbows behind her on the row above, so that her body was leaning at an angle, presenting her boobs to everybody. She then proceeded to open her legs and start stroking the outside of her boobs with her fingertips. She made it look like she was just doing it absent-mindedly, but she kept it up for a minute or two. Quite a show.

But there was more to come. Later I went back into the same sauna, and there she was again, lying on her back on the middle row. Again, I sat at right angles to her, with her feet pointing towards me. There were two other men in there, one on either side of me, so we all had more or less the same delightful view. Which she then made more delightful by lifting her knees to her chest and stretching for several minutes...

Nothing was left to the imagination. Either she is totally oblivious to what she's doing, or she knows exactly what she's up to and enjoys pushing the limits of what you can get away with. Either way, no complaints from me!

I have read elsewhere that there has recently been a real drop in the number of people walking around naked between saunas. Can someone confirm if this is true? And whether it is still the place to go to near M?

There are better places for sure.

TE is massive and on a busy day it's crowded. However the quality of the naked people is not great imo. They are mostly over 50 and not in good shape. And these are the people who are most likely to walk around naked.

By all means go to experience it because it should be seen at least once.

I would say 80% of people are shaved.

Just one more thing to clarify regarding TE Incase people misunderstand. I have been twice and I enjoyed both visits. The sheer scale of the place means that if you enjoy mixed nude bathing or want to try it for the first time it is definitely something that has to be seen. There is nowhere else like it.

I have been going to nude saunas in Europe for many years now and I have gotten quite picky when it comes to appreciating naked women. I don't find women over 50 attractive, of course there are some exceptions but they are very few and far between.

For that reason I wasn't impressed with the quality at TE.
There was of course the odd young beauty there but they were a small percentage of the clientele.

But I think an American who is visiting for the first time it would be a great experience. Having a beer naked at a pool bar is an experience in itself.

I much prefer smaller spas in cosmopolitan cities (Amsterdam, Berlin and Brussels). You tend to get a much higher percentage of young (18-40) fit and attractive females.

Which one would you suggest in Brussels? The castle one would be very convenient for me as it is really close to the airport. Is it the one or you suggest another one?

There are a few, but the castle one is one of the best in Belgium, and it's really close to the airport and has a included hotel.

What about the crowd? Is it close to what you can see in Amsterdam? Ages, gender balance?

Depends a bit on the weather and the weekday/weekend.
Gender balance is usually around 50/50 slightly more groups of girls and single men.
Ages, during weekends the crowd is relatively young compared to most Belgian sauna's. I would guess an average age of 35-40. During weekdays, the average age is higher.
