I think we all can agree, that the quality of the material presented in this forum by far exceeds anything else presented anywhere in the world. I went there a long time ago. Maybe 1979/1980 with a girl I went out with. But I do not recall that security was that tight.

The frisking didn't turn up any contraband. I'm sure a cavity search was next on the agenda... but the event has rules about that sort of thing. :D

I confess I skipped out before the awards ceremony, to beat some of the traffic. (Didn't work. Two HOURS to drive four miles, headed north. :mad:) Searching Flickr turns up a few pictures. There'll be more later.
