The first shaved ones I saw were in the mid 1980's at Mons Venus in Tampa, FL. But those ladies were pros. And lots were pierced, too. From careful, scientific examination of pics here, pussy shaving came in about the time "big hair" went out. Early 1990's. Seemed to start more with trimming the sides -- the landing strip look was popular. Didn't see majority as Brazilian or equivalent until this century.
