Jennifer Ehle - The Camomile Lawn (1992)
 

Thanks burger1701, though I'm afraid I've only got a couple more to go from these. The next two videos I have come from what was a controversial TV series at the time called The Camomile Lawn from 1992. A period piece set in the 1940's during the war, it gained notoriety because of it's sex scenes and nudity, as well as it's swearing. And it shot one of the actresses to instant fame, as Jennifer Ehle was making her screen debut in acting. As she recalled in an interview years later she was somewhat daunted about stripping off and baring all for the first time in her debut.

"I haven't done any nudity since - and never will again. When I took the job I never realized there would be so much of it, but nobody forced me to do it. The first time I felt really shocked - then came a whole day of naked scenes. I went home and was physically sick. But it wasn't the time or place to sit down and ask why I did it. I'd forgotten that I would be seen naked in a lot of living rooms."

And Jennifer - later to find further fame (and a TV BAFTA) for Pride and Prejudice - would be seen naked a lot in this series. She wasn't the only one to bare all for the series, but that person is to follow this upload shortly. So just enjoy seeing the lovely Jennifer in all her splendour and wonder how anyone with such a body and looks like hers could be embarrassed about scenes like these? Oh, and a warning guidance for viewers - not for the swearing that Jennifer does in one scene, but the sight of Nicholas Le Prevost naked. It's not a pretty sight...

Tara Fitzgerald - The Camomile Lawn (1992)
 

The 2nd actress who would find fame stripping off in The Camomile Lawn in 1992 was Tara Fitzgerald, who had started out acting only the year before with her debut in The Black Candle in 1991. Unlike Jennifer Ehle, however, Tara wasn't as fazed by the nude scene as she was, having already appeared nude in the film Hear My Song in 1991. And after the series made her famous, she went on to bare all for her art in a number of other things, including Anglo Saxon Attitues (1992, TV), Fall From Grace (1994, TV USA), A Man of No Importance (1994), Sirens (1994), The Vacillations of Poppy Carew (1995, TV), The Student Prince (1997, TV), Conquest (1998), Frenchman's Creek (1998, TV), In the Name of Love (1999, TV), Rancid Aluminium (2000), I Capture the Castle (2002), Murder in Mind (episode Echoes, 2003, TV) and In a Dark Place (2006). So not someone you could call shy, then!

Arkie Whiteley - Natural Lies (1992)
 

I wasn't able to get all of The Glittering Prizes nude scenes, as the ones involving Barbara Kellerman were age restricted on You tube, so you could always have a hunt round for that. As it is, this is my penultimate video post on here until Xmas (depending how I am), and comes from the TV thriller Natural Lies from 1992, which involved Bob Peck investigating the suspicious death of an old flame. In one scene he encounters a mysterious blonde (Arkie Whiteley), who may know more about the mystery, and who invites him to her flat. However - horror of horrors! - he discovers when he gets there that if he wants to know more, he'll have to have sex with her, as she promptly whips off her dress and lies naked on the bed. Now, for you and me, it would be a no-brainer, but Peck's character is married, and so he (unbelievably) declines and walks out.

For Arkie, although she had appeared topless in the film Razorback in 1984, this was her first full nude scene and proved a surprising, if nervous, experience. As mentioned in the book "Fade To Black,"Arkie said: "I was totally nude apart from my stockings and a tattoo I put on my bottom using a transfer. It was quite erotic and I was surprised at myself. It was a turn-on. I wished I had more to do. I thought the nudity was right for the part. This was my first full frontal nude scene and took two hours to shoot."

Arkie would go on to appear in further nude scenes in TV's Gallowglass (1993), McCallum (1998), Without Warning (1999) and The Last Musketeer (2000), but sadly her career was ended when she died of cancer at the age of 37, just 6 days before Christmas 2001. What a shame.

Claire Skinner
 

Saw her recently in Macdonald and Dobbs and a repeat of Outnumbered. But her most memorable role was in Dance to The music Of Time. She had several nude scenes showing of her lovely pale skinned body.

Judi Bowker - Clash of the Titans (1981)
 

The last of my video uploads here is from the 1981 film Clash of the Titans, starring the beautiful Judi Bowker. I only thought of this one when I was recording it for a friend, and remembered the sight of Judi walking out of the bath after being bathed by her maidens in preparations for being led out for sacrifice (don't worry, she gets rescued). The original script for Clash of the Titans was far more revealing than in the final film, as during the climax not only was Bowker's character meant to rise from the water, but she was also meant to be chained completely naked to the rocks for when the creature comes to claim her. Sadly, the BBFC overruled them and told them it had to be a more family friendly film. Either way, this is the only known nude credit for Judi on the toplessreview site. As for Judi, she came to fame in the kids TV series The Adventures of Black Beauty (1972), with further notable roles in Brother Sun, Sister Moon (1972), Count Dracula (1977) and The Shooting Part (1984). Sadly she isn't seen much on screen anymore, but she is still acting as of writing.
