FEMEN (Ukraine) seems to be a very active, up and coming organization. They have their own FLickr page as well as pages on many other major sites, so clearly they want publicity. The women are also uncommonly beautiful. HEre are some pics from their latest protest, and note the one pic with the cop personally raising the shirt of one of the women.

One of the sites they have a presence on is called http://vkontakte.ru. Anyone know anything about this site? Is it a major Russian or Ukrainian photo hosting or social networking site?

yes - it certainly seems to be a group that wants to get a little more 'exposure' for its models. they probably pay a fee to appear naked.....lol

On the subject of "naked" protest, another PETA shower, in Seattle yesterday; any better idea of what, if anything (other than those shoes, I mean!), they were actually wearing?

I've seen past videos where the camera gets a bit too close and you see that they are wearing strapless bikini tops, probably bikini bottoms too. I also remember reading an article a while back and it was reported in one case the girls wore pasties and bikini bottoms. I doubt they would actually go naked, most likely in fear of some crazed on looker destroying the shower booth.

Well, thanks to a blogger I found, as well as these shots, I can answer, and halfway confirm it, my own question: pasties and bikini bottoms...that pretty much squelches the buzz for me, especially given that the event took place in Seattle, not a spot known to shy away from public nudity, but in the interests of fuller documentation, and since I suspect some here will still enjoy them, herewith another set, including some from better angles than the previous post. And at least it was skimpier than strapless bikini tops...

At least somebody was finally daring enough to take some overhead shots...
