Sauna in the far north
 

To continue my last post, towards the end of my trip, I found myself in another big city with a non-coed sauna culture. I had found a seemingly popular one on the outskirts of the city, and decided to go one night. Turns out, it was a similar setup to the last, a women’s sauna, and a mens/coed option. There was probably about 40ish people for the coed one, all gathered in the mens locker room between sessions. 80/20 M to F ratio, the crowd skewed much older, but there were a few families, and younger couples. I have been to TE in M finally, while I will write about it in a later post, I will now write about another experience in a little sauna in the center of M
The bath was very small. It had one sauna, one steam room and one dry sauna, with a tiny indoor pool in the middle.
It was the afternoon of a weekend day and there were max 30 people, 60/40 m/f ratio and good age distribution, there were a few young cuties (under 30).

The best part? Everyone was nude, at V in B or TE, people threw their towel on as soon as they left the sauna or the tub/pool, and their website even have a writing like "this is not a fkk establishment so users should cover up while moving from one area to another". At this little sauna the place was so small that people just moved around naked and barefoot, leaving their towel hanging somewhere or just in their hand. Showers were also coed which was a delight to see given in V and TE they are not.

The best part? The dry sauna. It was a room with white tiles on the walls and white bright light, with one bench running around the perimeter: basically it was so bright and visible, it was perfect for watching. One girl with her boyfriend was sitting but had her legs up the bench in front of her, the bench was narrow however so she was basically sitting with a full spread chatting with her boyfriend and two other men in front of her, in a bright white room

But the best sight was this woman, 35/40ish, she was with her husband but was doing her own thing, while she was around on her own fully naked alone. Drawback is there is fewer people than big centers so yoy might get unlucky with the people that are there. Also I would go only on weekends.
If you are in Germany consider a small local sauna instead of a big center, you might get surprised.

Nice you had a good experience in the small sauna. But just going into any small sauna you will need specific info on exactly when to go, or you might not see anything that you would enjoy.
Also you state that you read the V's site says they are not FKK. The Kristall site says they are "Textilfrei". So why did you chose the V?

Thanks! Will be travelling to Munich as am curious to try out this local spa. I went to one just outside of Amsterdam and loved it more than the bigger spas like V, as you said. Did you find language barrier to be a problem at this spa in Munich? I always found even at some places like K, some staff don’t speak English well or even at all.

Is this spa attached to a hotel, or gym, or just standalone?

Simple: I have been to V in weekdays, in the morning of working days and in the late evening of working days, still the average age of people attending is below 30, no matter the time. V is a guarantee. K not so much. Also, its well outside B and takes 1 hour to get there.

I finally went to WW and was disappointed.
