Five times zoom has been my standard for the past two years, as has been mentioned, the heat coming up from the very hot land is one of my main problems, bigger zoom will not make any difference, except possibly at the start of the season. I do not believe any internal zooms are bigger than 5 times optical.
The new camera (when it arrives) will have an SLR equivelant of 180mm zoom. Any bigger than that, will result in shake problems. Those new Samsung cameras are both expensive and have an external zoom, as well as sand, they are not easy to hide either! So no good for me. On a positive side, look forward to more 'new' shots in a day or so, I have found some stuff I did not post before....I think!:o:o |

Here we go with an occaisional set of postings, culled from photos that I either did not bother or forgot to post. I will upload twice a week and may well be able to stretch them into next month or so!
There is the possibility of some re-posts:rolleyes:, as I am working from the principle of 'if the file is not edited in my collection, I have not posted it'. This is OK most of the time, but not infallable. Please do not bother complaining if there are mistakes, the new shots are better than nothing! :p:p During the heat of the summer, I just could not always upload every day, and I think this whole day's shooting (two main sets of subjects) got overlooked! |
