It certainly IS better quality, and intriguingly it has more footage than the clip I found of this. Thanks for uploading it. If you've got the whole episode, I'd upload it on You tube or Daily motion or ok ru or sites like that, as there's sure to be someone looking for rare TV stuff like this.

'Desperate Romantics' was probably the last BBC TV drama to feature nudity in almost every episode, although made in the early 2000s, it was very much like the 1970s, when it comes to the actors romping around naked. These two clips both feature Rebecca Davies, a girl with a 'fuller figure'!

Isobel Middleton - Road Rage (1998)
 

I mentioned Inspector Wexford in my previous post, and here is an unlikely nude scene from one of it's later episodes, Road Rage from 1998. It stars Isobel Middleton as one of the cops working with Wexford in bed having slept with another police colleague (no, not Reg, thankfully!). Unfortunately her colleague has a secret she is none too pleased about and on trying to get him to leave, pulls off her T-Shirt in anger, throwing it at him and leaving her stood naked in front of him. It's not much of a nude scene, I'm afraid, but it is Isobel's only ever nude part in her career. She pulls on a T-Shirt when in bed, but you don't get to see her breasts, only under her top. However, she does bare her bottom, so that is something.

She started out in 1994 in kids TV show Monster Café before gaining notice in Cracker the same year as Catriona Bilborough in a few episodes. She was also in EastEnders in 2002 as Sadie, though she may be best known now as the girlfriend of Jane Hazlegrove (currently in Coronation Street, but has been in many things), getting hitched in 2015. And I've added a pic of the loved up pair just to show what lady loving thespians look like, and what attracted each one to the other.

PS: Desperate Romantics was broadcast in 2009, but I agree Pedro the Fisherman. I too miss the free and uninhibited nudity of old in UK TV.

Strong Poison (1987)
 

Another one from the archives, this also comes from a murder mystery series - A Dorothy L Sayers Mystery, to be exact. It was from a short lived run in 1987 of Lord Peter Wimsey mysteries, and although they are what you would describe as 'museum pieces', they are quite involving, especially the last of them Gaudy Night. This clip is from the first mystery Strong Poison (Ep 2), where Wimsey goes to interview an artist and her chums over the death of a man, and just happens to turn up while she is doing a painting - of a nude model. The model's name in this is Imogen, but I cannot find a credit for who the actress is playing her. However, she sits there posing for a good 3 mins naked and bare breasted while they chat away, and even gives Wimsey a saucy wink that slightly perturbs him. However, when he goes to leave, he has a glance at the portrait (which is horrible) and gives her a knowing wink back before leaving. I know this clip hasn't been on here before, which is why I thought you might like to see it. Enjoy.

I used to have a great clip (now lost), featuring red headed actress Eve Matheson (once star of a BBC comedy series May to September) in a 'Mystery Play' that aired on C4 in the late 1980s, which featured her as Eve, as in Adam and Eve.

It was performed in a warehouse, with the audience following the performers, close in!

Eve (well named) and a naked Adam arose out of the earth FF naked, but with powdery earth obscuring the 'naughty bits'...until it fell off as they performed their lines!

Great first upload. I remember Eve Matheson from the TV sitcom May to December (from 1989-90) when I was a kid, and certainly hadn't seen her like this before! She did this just 2 years into her acting career, having started out in 1983 in an episode of TV soap Brookside, and later appeared topless in TV dramas What If It's Raining? (1986) and The Ambassador (1999). And Pedro the Fisherman, you are right. This was one of 3 Biblical dramas performed under the moniker "The Mysteries" in January 1985, with the dramas called The Nativity; The Passion; and Domesday (which this video is from), and shown on TV from December 22nd 1985 to January 5th 1986.

My own recording of this and a longer version. Definitely from The Nativity (it would be the first part of the three as it is about Adam and Eve).

The Word (1992)
 

This video is from the controversial (and somewhat revolting at times) Channel 4 show The Word, which ran from 1990 to 1995. This clip is from January 17th 1992, and sees host Terry Christian go to the Australian Church Club (nightclub) in London, where it provided booze, a stripper (called Pandora) and girl punters who were encouraged to strip off and perform in sex games. I've edited it down to the naughty stuff, though I wish there had been more footage of it. However, you never know, there may be people you recognize from 30 years back who you would never of imagined being at a place like this, and the whole episode (well, most of it) is actually available on You tube.
