Trash Salad extra performance on 11th March
 

Saw Trash Salad tonight. Apparently they’ve just added an extra performance on 11th Match to the current run.

It’s an (almost) Solo performance by gay artist Rosa Garland. Topless on and off (excuse the pun) for at least half the time. At the start extracts a cherry tomato in a condom from her c*nt (fully exposed to the front row) and takes her top off to reveal tassels. Fortunately these don’t stay on very long. At the end Rosa gets fully naked and remains so from then on.

The show has had very good reviews. I enjoyed it (and not just because of the nudity!) but it was a bit bizarre at times. There were some very funny and clever moments as well as some Trash!!

How long is she naked for at the end?

There were two shows in the autumn, one with audience naked and one with audience clothed. Because of the big success they will have two more shows this spring, both with also audience having to be naked.

Anyone from the forums attended the first one? Or planning to attend the upcoming ones? A review would be great! I doubt I´ll make it.

Marina Abramović retrospective - Sept-Dec 2023
 

The retrospective of Marina Abramović at the RA in London that was postponed from a few years ago is once again scheduled.

Public dates are given as 23 September — 10 December 2023.

Different pieces will be recreated, including Imponderabilia (where visitors pass through a doorway of two naked people), and Nude with Skeleton.

Apollinaire Theater, Chelsea MA
 

Apollinaire Theater in Chelsea MA is staging "Dance Nation" this month. From the website:

"Dance Nation contains use of stage blood, possible partial nudity, coarse language, depictions of self-harm, mentions of sex and masturbation and simulated masturbation. "

Reviews of this show from other productions note "Gratuitous Nudity", and I would expect nothing else from this one, given their edgy productions of the past. I know several people in this production, but not sure I'll get to see it due to conflicts.
