Just got around to watching this. Wish the cameraman had not been a runner. The camera doesn't stay focused on anything for more than a second or two. Darting around, shaky, etc.

But... the number of runners impressed me, and all fully nude and unpainted. Good ratio. Lots of fun, but you have to kind of imagine what the camera wasn't quite up to showing. Imagine college students in all their glory. That's because what you mainly get is just a lot of fleeting glimpses.

..which is why, I think (rare in this case) I prefer the stills that were posted rather than the vid.... a few in particular which I looked for ardently while watching the vid, only to find that they went by so quickly that I pretty much missed them.

not sexy but fun. and the UNC vid, and the stuff recently being hauled over from the old thread, although a few of those are non campus pics (including one of mine from the Portland WNBR). No problem, its all in the same spirit.

But back to the UNC vid. The event itself I would nominate for campus naked run of the year. The vid doesn't do it justice. But the spirit behind this - I especially love the library setting because a library is so associated with overachieving students with little time to party. I mean, what an in the face attitude they must have to stick their butts in the face of students grinding away :) Librarys are these sacred halls. Reminds me of The Music Man, when dancing erupted in the library while Marian tries to shut them up. That professor Hill, what a scoundrel. Same here. They used to fight over smutty books in libraries. Thats nothing compared to stripping it all off and prancing through one.

Just a reminder to anyone in Chi about the U of C run today!

My friend goes to U of C, and I had told him about the run here in Burlington. Well, he was all excited to watch his college's run today. He went, but was very disappointed, especially after I raved about the hundreds of girls who run naked for an hour in Burlington.

He said there were two totally nude girls and two more topless girls. One nude girl had a very full bush and the other was shaved. The rest of the girls had bikinis on. It was cold there, so maybe that's why it wasn't great turnout. Also, they ran the length of the quad and got dressed and that was it.

So unlike Burlington, which is definitely worth a trip to see, I don't think this one is.

It depends how far you have to go. :) It's a good time, but it is short. It's much more enjoyable if you shoulder your way among the runners indoors before the race or while they're getting dressed afterwards. And I do think the temps and wind make a difference. I feel there has been better turnout in warmer years. Somewhere between 20ºF and 10ºF,*Chicagoans turn reluctant.

I went in 2014 (video link) but haven't been able to since. It would be worth a drive for me if I lived within a few hours of there.
