This certainly HASN'T been on here before! This is from "Tales from Hollywood", which was shown in the "Performance" strand on BBC2 in 1992. "Performance", like with "Screenplay", "Screen One/Two" or "Play of the Week" were anthology programmes that TV had in the day to showcase new dramas or new writers. Following on from Pedro the Fisherman uploading some 'old' TV clips (can the 1980's/90's really be old?), here is another clip from a UK TV adaptation from 1987 called A Wreath of Roses, starring Joanna McCallum, daughter of stars John McCallum and Googie Withers. She played a discontented woman in a period drama who meets a enigmatic stranger (Trevor Eve) and his presence stirs up long dormant feelings of sexuality that she imagined had passed her by. In this video clip (and apologises for the quality but it seems to be from an old recording), she decides to check out her body in the mirror, and explores it with her hands as she imagines how sensuous and desirable her body might be to men to see her naked.

Some TV opera from 1988, shown on Channel 4 in the UK. Two female and one male (bona fide) opera singers (acting as apes) start naked and discover clothes. They sing in a primitive language, of their own invention!
