Did the demographic change over the years, or was it just the subject of the photographs?

All the old vintage photos show an average age in their 20s and people of reasonably athletic build. All the modern photos show people in their 40s and 50s, and uhh, apple shaped at best.

Did the people who go to Cap change? Or was it just a change in what photos got taken?

Well, imagine you were 20 and in perfect shape in die 80's - that means you're now somewhat 60 or plus. And still a nudist. Does this mean your'e not allowed in Agde or other nudist beaches any more? They (and me) went there for a lifetime`You sure will grow older, too, so be fair, please!:D

There are still lots of young people there, depending on the season. but maybe they don't want to show themselves in pics in public?

Go there, enjoy the free spirit from 20 to 80 years nudist, it's not a question of the body, it's a queistion of the soul and mind.;)

Also is it a public beach? Can anyone go to the beach without having to pay to stay there?

Hello Zeemzima,

Cap d'Agde is not ONE nightclub. It's a village with several clubs and hundreds of shops and restaurants. Once you're at the inside of the naturist resort you can pay your admission-fee for the club you prefer. It has a public beach but when you enter at the official gate, then you have to pay a fee for a one day visit. You can come by foot, bike, car and there is a bus-stop for the bus between agde-train-station and le cap d'agde at the sea. There is also a bus from Beziers Airport.
Look at a map of the naturist part of le Cap d'Agde and you'll see what it's all about...
