More from me. London 2009

Summary so far: Byron Bay and Nimbin both had full nudity, haven't found non-watermarked or reasonably large exemplars; other Oz rides were to have restrictions (but apparently not in the painting tent, as seen here from Sydney); Brazil, or at least Sao Paolo, had restrictions, police intervention, AND at least one arrest...stay tuned (the two Aussie rides w/confirmed nudity were last weekend, with the main southern hemisphere rides this weekend), but don't hold your breath: it doesn't look promising.

Here are some new shots from the ill-fated 2009 Manchester ride.

Hopefully, they will be allowed to ride this year without the police stopping them. It seems, that a lack of co-ordination (within the Police) was the cause and this year full nudity (as in 2007 and 2008) will be allowed to happen, without trouble.

Hello, since WNBR is coming up again in london in a few months, it made me look back on the photos I extensively trawled the net for, and found this great thread that helped me add a few to my collection. I was actually at the event. I didn't know it was happening, and was pleasantly surprised. I'll try to bring a camera to the next one.

I have a few specific wnbr girls that I've tried to build up collections for. I'll share my collection of what I have so far of them and would be grateful if people can add to them.

Ok first, it my possible favourite. One of the stewards, i believe from the 2009 ride.
I've been searching for 1 specific photo of her that I had before, which was a closeup of her face and boobs. But I had to reformat my harddrive and it got lost.. :(
so, if anyone can find and post that, I'd appreciate it.

Next it's another steward. I believe her name is Lucinda. I have yet to see a full frontal shot of her without her underwear, but as you can see from one of the shots is that she definitely took them off :)

This blonde with a hat is named Emma I believe. (the girl she's with is another named Emma)

Just came in and downloaded the zips, so didn't check the zips yet. I had to download it to a specific folder of unsorted 2009 pics. Looking at the pics which are already shown and to the (Flickr)filenames of some pics, i think that some several pics, may be more than 50% of the pics had been posted before. But as a non UK-resident i couldn't recognize directly from which WNBR's those pics are. Could you state from which WNBR those pics are. I.e. which pics are from London, which from Brighton etc. Because i made separate folders for each different WNBR and with this information i could save those great pics and zips to the right folder and also check if they are reposts.
The girl with the hat must be indeed Emma as i read it also somewhere.
May be Pedro could confirm if there are pics reposted and from which WNBR these are.
And for those who are able to visit the Cocco website, they brought today new Chigago 2009 WNBR pics by Tarzan.

For those of us who study this event, I am pretty sure most shots that you posted have been seen before, but on this event, one never knows!

I thought I had a photo of 'Lucinda' the bee girl FF, however, on closer inspection we had two bees....both fully naked and both stewards:rolleyes:

Unfortunately, I don't have any of that particular blonde. In fact, I don't think I saw her until reading this thread.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to 2010 wnbr. I did take some shots at the 2009 one, but it was just with a camera phone at the starting point, and the shots I took were of girls that there are already much better photos of (such as the girl in the first photo I'll add to this post).
Also, I naively thought that the ride would end in the same place (rather than wellington arch), so I got there when it was pretty much over.

I should have a better camera phone next time (probably the sony satio, which i believe is the only 12 megapixel one)
I feel less of an intrusive perv with a camera phone, plus the fact that I'll be on rollerblades like last time, and pretty young should lead the objects of my affection into a false sense of security. haha :D

Ok now, some more pics. Oh yeah, as for the girl in the last group. I one had a great close up photo of her, when she's placing a necklace or something over her head. I lost it in my reformat. If you have it, post please :)

How come so many more girls are willing to go topless than nude?

In my experience, about 50% of all female riders will go topless, 20% fully nude and 30% will opt for bikini or underwear. However, we had almost 400 female riders at London and Brighton last year, so that is a lot of flesh in total. The full nudity count amongst males is higher, 60-70% nude:mad:, the rest in swimming shorts.

they do it to tease Pedro a bit :) actually, if EVERY single babe went fully nude, most of us guys would probably faint dead of a heart attack, so consider they are doing it to help us out.

But now Pedro will say, just about all the Spanish girls ride it fully nude. So I guess they must not be so concerned for our hearts as the British girls...

It's true, klondike, the WNBR started here in Spain and (although it has not really spread as much as other countries like the UK and USA) naked bike ride MEANS NAKED, not 'dare as you bare'. ;)

The Spanish girls at Brighton are always fully naked....and gorgeous to boot!!:D:D

Loads more original 2009 shots like the one below to come from me, as we approach the wonderful nude cycling season in June.

The guy who is setting up the first ever Naked Bike Ride in Madison, Wisconsin on June 19th is trying to convince everybody to go nude and nude only. BUT, a couple others mentioned that maybe it would be a good idea to just worry about getting the first ride to even happen and worry less on the amount of nudity. Since Madison is only a couple hours away from Chicago and happening on a seperate weekend as their ride, a decent turnout shouldn't be too hard to come up with.

you make a rule like that and a lot of women will just opt out entirely. Not good. Better topless only than nothing at all (so to speak). But college town rides should be pretty good no matter what the rules, and I'm surprised Madison has been without one up until now.

Klondike is correct, this topic has come up in the UK several times.

If you make a nude only ride, 95% of riders will be male, kinda tough if only 10 folks turn up too! Bare as you dare allows people to go along and adjust their level of dress (or undress) to la evel they are happy with. If 400 turn up and half go fully nude, at least another 50 will join them. If 9 nude guys turn up, any women not with one of the guys will likely carry on past the start and go home.

Yeah, I am surprised to. Last year I read in the newspaper that an attempt was made for the bike ride but nobody was interested. This year I think one of the people planning it is a women who has done it before and another person interested is a 20-year old college girl. It should be good.
