Very disappointed with writing.com just deleting stories like that. I half-heartedly attempted to start The Namish on Editthis - adding new stories seems unreasonably complicated - but I might just copy over "She Doesn't Know" in it's entirety so that it's preserved in some way.

Sorry I haven't written, I needed some times to formulate my thoughts on this whole thing.

First off, I deleted my own profile, and was not taken down by the sight. So, nobody worry, or blame them anymore then they have been. I did this for a few reasons, all personal. I was getting to the point of addiction, checking the story multiple times A day, writing thousands of chapters. It was consuming my time pretty immensely. Also, A lot of the threads had gotten to very dark places, almost every long running getting a pretty negative point. I started to get a lot of guilt and disgust reading it, and wanted to put my efforts towards something less twisted.

Really, what I would've loved to do was start a new story, similar with less baggage. Unfortunately, writing.com is not the sight for that. Hopefully at some point in the future something like that can happen.

Now, I really have to apologize about this to everyone who contributed. See, i didn't realize the story would be deleted when I terminated my membership. I was a complete idiot, I don't know how I could've acted so rashly. I knew that every other writer who's account was deleted their stories disappeared. But, I thought mine wouldn't, for some idiotic reason. Really, I just didn't think properly before I acted. I wish I had given notice so everyone could save their chapters. I really screwed up, so many people had contributed great things to the story, I hope someone can salvage something for them.

So, once again, I just got to apologize to everyone involved in the story. I acted for my own sake, I wish I could've give notice to save everything.

I hope at some point, when I've taken some time away from this, to write another interactive ENF (probably focused on small breasts, my favorite genre of ENF story). In the meantime I hope someone else picks up the slack and you all keep writing. I probably won't be much a presence on this or any other story board for a while, though realistically I don't see myself stay away from writing here for long.

Well, good thing I gave myself that 1% leeway for predicting the reason for your departure. :P

Sorry to hear that your writing was bringing you more grief than happiness, but as you say, you'll probably return to the scene. I just wish that your decision could be easily undone--like pants of some of our protagonists. ;)

I figured it out. The URL was incomplete. It was missing the exclamation point at the end. Because of this, the site brought you to a "new" page.

Even John Knuckles profile is gone from writing.com. That's a bummer because he was another great writer with amazing stories.

Yep . . . that about sums it up. I understand your dilemma and appreciate your issues but on behalf of your many loyal fans I just gotta say you screwed us over pretty badly. That story with over, what was it . . . 500 chapters, was a classic that is probably lost forever. You may recover SOME chapters but even the dark chapters (in your opinion) were really pretty interesting reads. YOU COULD have exercised your option as editor to delete just the darker things you found inappropriate but your way of walking away - even if accidental - was a real bummer for those of us who hold you in such high esteem.

As you said it was an unfortunate accident. You supporters would really be grateful for whatever you can do to recover this classic. And from this fan I also have to say you've been blessed with a great talent. Don't give it up - and if you do at LEAST create an archive of your work.

God damn it. Just wrote out a very large message, didn't copy/paste it, then OneClick signed me out and lost the message! Grr...

Basic jist: we need a way to keep track of updates on Create Your Own Story, since they don't provide this service themselves. Writing.com updates the item if it's on your Favourites, and it's something which is badly missing from CYOS.

But! This is not the place to do it. Any discussion would be drowned out under a wave of 'Updated such and such messages.'

There isn't a category for ENF (it seems to be lumped in with exhibitionism and voyeur). But from what I've seen it's pretty decently organized with story maps, and most importantly NO ADS.

Took a look, and this might just be our calling card.

Site isn't bulky like writing.com (Story pages actually load in a second!)

Font is nice and easy to read.

Story mapping, I would say, it much better than Writing.com. I tried to upload a screenshot, but the site's being weird about it. Needless to say though, it's easily navigable.

Something interesting I saw in the account option was "approved threads" which might suggest an active part on the owner is needed, but that is both good in bad.

So far I'm searching for ENF/Forced Nudity stories that don't turn into overt sex; I'm not having much luck, but we have to remember we're a rather niche fetish in of itself. I'll try to compile a list.

I'll keep exploring the site, but I think we might have a winner. As it stands, I think it might even be better than Writing.com.

EBTF Appears to have stolen "Jenny's Nude Life" as well.

Choya isn't new. It's owned by literotica. I have had an account since around 2002 or so but the old site software was really messy, there was no moderation, and 99% of the stories got abandoned by their author. Glad to see they remade the site and it is gaining new life. The new version feel way better. :)

Actually, EBTF didn't steal Jenny's Nude Life. He was the original author over at Writing.com.

I suppose I'm not that bothered really. The Writing.com version of 'She doesn't know' has been stagnating for over a year now, and EBTF's version is faring no better. I was just a little taken aback when I first saw it.

Thanks for pointing that one out. I've actually already added a few parts to it. It's a lot easier to add one thread at a time instead of writing an entire story or an entire chapter of a story.

So Public Exposure and Naked in School over at writing.com have been locked at set to private. I'm not sure if this was shadowrips decision or it was forced on him, but it's a shame either way.

I can still access both stories, but not "nude in public"?

Also, Public Exposure and Naked in School are both at the top of my Favourites and showing as updated a day ago, but the latest I can see is August and July?

They came back again today. Maybe he was just doing some cleanup I'm not sure.
Also, updates don't just happen with new chapters. You also get notices when a chapter is deleted or the intro is modified.
