Spoken like a teenaged virgin who faps to airbrushed porn.

It's amazing how bold and brave some people can be with their juvenile insults when their annonymity is safe on the net.

That may be so, but there's a kernel of truth in it, in that the pubic hair divide is very much a generational thing. Feminist writer Naomi Wolf and fashion mag/blogzine Jezebel have written on the topic.

I know that many of us will have enjoyed the Empty Hills thread.. OK, these are 'hippy chicks', but when I recall that five years ago all Russian models, amateurs included, were completely hairless, it shows that the circle has turned to some degree. This will continue, probably to the dismay of those who hate the hirsute look, and my own observations on Spanish naturist beaches would suggest that it's coming back into fashion for younger women.

'Bald beavers' are a fashion, much to do with the cut of bikinis and panties as driven by the fashion industry (and also the need to 'see everything' in porn), but that will change as surely as the sun rises and sets.

In a sense, it's the rest of the world which will have to catch up with Japan!

There is no need for personal insults, he did not insult you. Some of us like bush, some of us like shaved, hopefully we can respect each others preferences without being nasty.

Personally, I am old, and prefer shaved. I can not enjoy my old Playboy magazines anymore, because the bushes are too distracting. It will be interesting to see whether it is indeed a fashion, that will swing back the other way, like facial hair on men. Or whether it is more like women shaving their legs and under-arms, where it is not likely to come back into style ever. There are obviously some people who like women with hairy legs, but for normal women, they would not consider it. Hopefully (for me anyway), it will be like that, and having a bush will be considered like an unshaved woman or one who does not bathe. We shall see.

I'm neither a teenager (haven't been in a long time) or virgin, nor do I like airbrushed pics, and yet I'd have to agree with Mitcham. The less hair the better I say!!!

.... but, eh, to each his own

Says the guy who just insulted an entire culture for being backwards, archaic, and unfashionable. You don't have to enjoy pubic hair on women, that's fine. But there is also absolutely no call whatsoever to complain about it, whine and bellyache about how much you 'hate' this perfectly natural part of the human body, and disparage the Japanese for not culturally identifying with the depilatory trend that is currently popular in The West.

Twwain's personal insult may have been inappropriate, but in this poster's opinion you walked right the fuck in and asked for it with your utterly ridiculous notion that anyone on this board actually cares one whit about how much you 'hate' pubic hair.

Next time someone makes a post that contains elements you 'hate', just keep your freakin trap shut. Spouting off your personal opinions is only ever going to earn you personal insults from people who think what you're saying is crap.

Japanese photos

Some are with pubic hair, and some are without. In Japanese those without are called Paipan. Do an image search for paipan and you will find a lot of shaved japanese photos. Most are professional, and so cannot be posted here. You can also search for Rikitake, a Japanese nude photographer, and find a lot of professional paipan photos.

The photos I am posting are from a Japanese amateur board. It seems that a lot of Japanese exhibitionists shave, but I don't think it is common for other women. Do a search for gensenfuro, and you can find videos secretly made in Japanese women's public bath houses. They were recorded by women who work at the baths, and posted on a site hosted in China. They can not be legally put on a site hosted in Japan, because they were recorded secretly without the permission of the women. You will see few if any shaved women on these videos, all have pubic hair.

Some of the photos I am posting have the faces censored, because public nudity is illegal in Japan.

You have seen pictures of European women's armpits haven't you?

Women now shave their vulvas? According to whom? Most women never show their pussy's to anyone but their husbands or boyfriends (much less let them be photographed). Who the hell cares what some writers or fashion mags have to say about it, or whatever someone might observe on a nude beach? The hard fact is that no one knows how many women shave or don't shave their vulvas, and no one ever will.
