When we started visiting this sauna we were quite alone being a couple with the combination of a fully shaved cock and a hairy pussy. Most couples were either both fully shaved or the woman more or less shaved and the man more hair/pubes.
Last wknd when we visted the sauna we saw several couples where the wife/gf had a full (or close to a full) bush whereas the husband/bf was either fully shaved or closely trimmed.
Don’t know if this is a Swedish ”trend” or if the situation is alike in other countries?

I'm at saunas in Sweden often too - I've always thought the Swedish girls are more likely to be hairy than the Germans, but they guys it's about the same. Once I went to a huge German sauna complex with 2 Swedish friends, both female and hairy. And they were the only hairy girls in the whole place! But that's 5 years ago now.

I can agree. In the Czech/German Saunas some bushes can be seen, but still in real minority.

What I have observed over the years is that in the larger Thermen in Germany, like Erding or Ludwigsfelde, where there is a sizeable crowd of younger regulars, the predominant fashion for women is to be closely trimmed. That is, not really clean-shaven - that is rarer now, it was more common maybe some 10 years ago. Truly full bushes are nearly non-existent. But those blond or redhead girls who naturally have little bush which is also fair may do little about it.

In smaller places, or those more likely to have first-timers or casual visitors, you are more likely to see the “bathing-suit” trim, ie very visible bushes that are a bit trimmed, especially on the sides, as a “rectangle”.

Once I heard a young woman complain that the last time she went nude without having had a chance to “groom”, she got looks “full of contempt” from the other women.

So you mean you have been to swedish saunas as well and your opinion is that swedish women have more bush than german/czechs?

How come you have been to swedish saunas often? Have you lived/do you live in Sweden?

I spend a lot of time in Skåne for work reasons. Both Skåne and Copenhagen have a lot of delights for sauna enthusiasts.

Both of you deserve a thanks for dealing with those perceptions.

Would you care to be slightly more specific? :)

And how does these places compare to say German or Dutch places?

the Swedish places are much smaller generally, always by the sea. Maybe just one sauna for women and one for men. Some have a mixed sauna in between the sections. But also it's normal to have certain days/evenings every week when it's mixed. Often it's called "family day" or something. Single men are sometimes not welcome then... but I have a good female friend (lesbian) who I go with, she's my passport to all these places!
