It might be hidden from the subject at that distance, but it's the people near you or walking past who might see it. A camera on a nude beach is almost classed as a deadly weapon by beach users nowadays. Brighton is steeply sloped, so not easy to take photos, unless the subjects stand up. The best day is WNBR day as inhibitions shown on the ride are often discarded on the beach and the sheer number of photographers make it easy! :D

I went to Brighton on Sunday, a hot spring day and tons of people out and about . . . there was not one single woman on the nude beach.

First visit of 2017
 

Made my first trip to the beach yesterday, on a solo run as my wife didn't fancy the crowds. Walked straight to the dunes to find a spot to pitch my gear and one of the first couples I came across in the dunes were openly engaging in affectionate behaviour. These photos were not shot at studland but I thought you would enjoy them anyway.
These were shot at Hengistbury Head in Bournemouth which is a non nude beach not far from Studland, So still in Bournemouth so I thought it was kind of relevant to this thread.
It was an amateur photo shoot and the original plan was supposed to be flashing in public but as you can see it soon escalated into me getting nude which was a big risk as it was about midday and there were people walking past occasionally. I was very nervous to start with but soon grew some balls haha. To be honest it was quite a turn on throwing my clothes off every time the coast was clear.

Go back 20 years and on a hot weekend day taking a stroll from Brighton pier to just past Hove Leisure centre or from Bournemouth Alum Chine to just past Boscombe Pier there would be numerous topless women and the odd one out in the sea, also string bottoms to see. Gradually this has declined and of the occasional ones now a fair proportion may well have been there 20 if not 40 years ago.
