Default Weird question regarding celebs and playmates from decades ago

Hi all,

I don't know whether this is the right place to ask but I wanted to hear your guys opinion on something.

Some years ago I had used photos of Lana Wood as "masturbation template" and suddenly it struck me that I didn't know whether she was still alive and I immediately had some kind of guilty feeling. A check at wikipedia calmed me as I saw that she was alive and well, so I could go on and enjoy her.

Recently I had an experience about a playmate from the 1970s (Candy Loving), I saw one of her pics on Instagram and got turned on but then immediately felt guilty again, as I thought she might not be alive anymore - I did some research and found that, luckily, she's still alive and in her early 70s.

The same happens, when I see photos of, for example, Marilyn Monroe, I feel bad when I look at her boobs...

Does anybody of you also have these kinds of guilty feelings in cases when being turned on by old photos from somebody who might not be alive anymore, is this normal or is this weird?

Not sure weird is the right word but I think you are over thinking it…
I never thought about what the appropriate expiry date on a pussy is…
I know if you looked at current naked pics of these same people you may not find them so attractive or who knows, maybe you’re weird haha

If they turned you on then and still do looking at them in their glory days - I figure it’s a Compliment you still get off on their photos….

Oh Emma Peel maybe we still have a chance ! Lol 😝

Interesting question. Never considered it before, but since you asked, I've given it some thought.

Speaking solely for myself of course, my attitude is that as long as they were still alive when the photo/video was taken, which is almost always the case, I have no guilt whatsoever enjoying someone's nudes if they've since passed on. They were alive & well and enjoying, in most cases, the experience of being sexy at the time, so why shouldn't that be enjoyed in perpetuity?

I feel weird only when I'm enjoying scenes taken from movies where the scene is in a morgue/medical examiner's office and the body in question is already "deceased". This disqualifies a great number of horror scenes where a nude female is in the process of being "killed", a-la Friday the 13th. Another exception is made for movies where the girl is reanimated somehow after death. An obvious example would be Linnea Quigley in Return of the Living Dead. Another would be Christina Ricci in After.Life. Don't feel weird about those.

But if her character is dead and she's portraying herself as "dead"? Yeah, that makes me feel a little off. There was a movie with Alyssa Milano about 15 someodd years or so ago where her character had died and they showed scenes of her "autopsy", complete with full frontal views from above the table. Needless to say, having lusted after her for decades (she's like 2yrs older than me so I pretty much grew up with her), the chance to finally see her in her entirety beyond Embrace of the Vampire was really fulfilling while still odd in a way.

Thing is, I was amazed at how detailed and realistic the "cutting" scenes were. It's like "how did they do the prosthetics for this scene so that it doesn't look like makeup on her torso, it really looks like there's legitimate depth underneath those "cuts". That was a big contributor, I think, to why I felt weird enjoying that. I mean, I knew Alyssa Milano was still alive & well, so it wasn't a real, legit autopsy. But still... Then I found out that the props dept for the film had made a life-sized, fully detailed rendering of Alyssa's entire body, complete with internal organs, designed to be "autopsied". So essentially I was fapping to a RealDoll. And I'm sure Ms. Milano herself was relieved to not have to pose fully nude for the movie.

But even though it gives me weird feelings enjoying nudity in that context, it's still nudity, so it's not a deterrent.

Something to consider: if this were a major thing for people, an entire genre of porn (Vintage) would disappear. I've enjoyed porn filmed in the 40's & 50's at times, and I'm fairly certain the vast majority of the performers there are no longer alive.

Oh my I didn't know that either, who would have thought that they put in such an effort for that scene

Yes, that's true, I never thought about the aspect that there's a whole genre about this stuff. Makes me feel less guilty already

So go to the extreme. Do a Man & Wife miss the one who has Passed ? Of Course ! Always in their thoughts. So for photo/video purposes, particularly for "strangers", does it matter ? I think of friends/relatives who have gone in exactly the same way as I thought of them when they were "around" ! And I apply that to those seen on these pages.

If you start fapping to pictures of ladies on the autopsy table or the open coffin then it is time to worry. Else fap to what you like. There are enough pics, if one makes you feel strange use another.

I am probably a bit weird but I have had similar thoughts. I am also probably odd in that I almost never masturbate unless I am away from my wife for multiple days but just enjoy viewing pictures of naked women. I have felt weird about it before but gotten over it. The only one I have not been able to get over are the photos I found of my dead aunts. The one I didn't really know from the 40's and 50's was not as weird but the one I was close to that were more explicit weirded me out to the point that I got rid of them. It just felt wrong. I also have wondered if there is an afterlife and if so, can those in the afterlife see what is happening on earth. If so, can they see that I am viewing their pictures? That is just another odd thought I have had that is related to this topic.

Then again I am nostalgic. I have close to 300 firearms dating back to the Civil War and every major conflict through Viatnam as part of my collection. Sometimes I get a chill handling or firing an old weapon and wondering the history of it and the people who have used it. Last weekend I took out and shot two Civil War weapons. One was a union marked calvary carbine. The other was a confederate marked three band enfield. They could have been aimed at each other at some point in history. I know many of my weapons have been used to take lives. It gives me a chill but in a way it honors them too to think of them. One that I actually know a little of the history of is a Japanese Nambu pistol that my grandpa took off a Japanese officer he killed with his knife during WWII. It still has three bullets in the magazine that were in there when he took it. I have the knife he used too which I framed with the gun. He claimed he killed eight Japanese with that knife.

Full circle to the original question, you have to decide what is right for you and what you can sleep with. Only you can make that decision.

I've had similar thoughts and this is my provisional answer.

The Judeo-Christian answer would be that those in heaven have been transformed/purified, so they see events on earth as perfected beings with purified thoughts, feelings and motives and a certain emotional detachment.

Seeing even a fraction of all the terrible things humans do to each other would be overwhelmingly tragic and a terrible punishment, unless we had been transformed first.

If they can watch you masturbating, you can look at their picture. 😁

Well I for one will never stop jerking it at least once or twice a year to Kelly Preston's nude scene in Mischief - that's just never gonna happen. I don't consider it disrespectful but a celebration of feminine beauty forever enshrined through the art of cinema.

I'll admit I felt a little guilt though back when Jill Clayburgh died back in 2010 going on a brief googling retrospective of her work that culminated in me ejaculating to her topless scene in An Unmarried Woman literally the same day she died. Maybe that was a little disrespectful - Sorry Jill!
