You are right!
Up to ten year ago bra was considered underwear, not expected to be exposed, with see-through effect (lace, thin tissue etc.). Today women tend to show their bra, therefore bra are made with solid non trasparent tissues.

The see-through topless of the previous post was an exceptional one-only event for the coleagues of my wife. On the other hand they frequently enjoy another (less embarrassing) see-through outfit of my wife.
Let’s go back to the beginning of the story. Shopping afternoon, clothing store, my wife takes a pair of white summer cotton trousers and asks me "Do you like them? ".
I am surprised they are of a thin fabric, I guess they are transparent and I am surprised that she has chosen them (she is very modest). I say "try them" assuming she sees that they are transparent and discards them.
I was wrong, my wife surprises me again, she comes out of the dressing room wearing the trousers, she has a short t-shirt , her belly is exposed, trousers are transparent, her panties are clearly visible underneath. Her lace panties are see-through, with a little effort you may see the pubic hair below. Just my humble opinion - she might just be an innocent wife that has no clue that she is showing more of her body than what is standard for a wife. I sort of recall seeing slacks nearly this see-through at work, but not quite. Usually there are at least some pockets in the back. Mostly it's the younger single girls that wear something a tad too revealing to my office, but what parent hasn't told their daughter, "you're dressed like a sl*t." What intrigues me more are the wives that wear something just a little more revealing than the norm. I've seen women wear white skirts that reveal their white panties underneath. My point is that it is difficult to define what is "showing more of her body than what is standard for a wife".
In Western Europe women, wives and not, are used to wear both miniskirts and see-through outfits like the pants of my wife. In my opinion both miniskirts and see-through outfits are revealing, the strange thing is that my wife has a lot of problems in wearing a short skirt (only a few times and with maximum care when moving or sitting) but she has no problems with see-through pants at the office, in real life, with friends.
Last but not least I cannot exclude that "she dreams of getting banged hard over her desk by Tom and Paul" but it seems that she tries to tease them with see-through more than with a mini-skirt.
For the record sometimes I dream to bang a few of my female co-workers but it is only a dream. I assume that anybody has this type of dreams.

Yes, we repressed uptight Americans are too obsessed with nudity and too easily shocked. My personal experience is that I have and still on occasion do see women at work with skirts halfway up their thighs, if that's what's considered a miniskirt these days (In MY day, in the 70s, skirts barely covered a girl's crotch!). But I've never seen see-through pants like those in the picture before, so they would draw my attention much more than a short skirt. A short skirt shows off a woman's legs, but the see through slacks leave little to the imagination as to what she would look like in just her panties alone. Maybe other women in your wife's office wear see-through pants, but if not I have to think that your wife just hasn't looked backward in the mirror, or seen the pic you posted to know what she's showing her co-workers. Maybe she knows exactly what she's doing.
