Sorry, but I just realized that the above is a bit redundant in light of Klondike's earlier post and the next couple replies, which I missed somehow. I still think we should offer her a scholarship though.

I agree that it was probably her political activities that got people researching her and discovering the photos, and possibly linking to them to hurt her. However, given her political, social and sexual attitudes, I doubt she's terribly embarrassed. Also, the original photos are still up on her page. She obviously could have taken them down if she gave a damn.

I spent 28 months in Uganda with the Peace Corps a long time ago. Believe me, it was not all fun and games. Give the young girl credit for doing somethin most people would find rerpulsive. Unless you've been there, don't knock it.

Not very impressive in my dictionary since it is all a simple show of mockery/disdain and disregarding the very existentialism (all titty baring porn aspects aside).
All I can say is that it is pretty much disgusting (like the Japanese broad blowing/screwing an African tribal in the wilderness for monetary gains).
Don't mind my rant since it is only "food for thought" - just because it is taking undue advantage of ORIGINAL customs (like the Yapese from Micronesia) and superimposing it with redundant "Victorian" values.

Oh, so you're saying she was actually "marrying" the guy in the photos? I just thought she was observing the ritual, so I was confused why you were so pissed, but if she was participating as well, I can sort of understand where you're coming from.

for memory.. thier were 2 families with teenage daughters..one kept covering up but the other didn't always

Looks like the same format with the same tribes but with different family surnames

Anyway because it was being aired at 6:30pm there was no chance for whatever little nudity there was from the families to go uncensored. I think there was at least one episode where both mother and daughter went topless for some tribal dance. The show didn't rate very well.

A while back I came across a show like this that was in I believe Danish, or perhaps another Scandanavian language. I was checking out out because it involved a family staying with one of the naked South American tribes. I scanned through all the streaming episodes but no one got naked even for a second. Disappointing.
