Thanks for starting the thread F4ther. I see you got the expensive ticket. Well if you came that far you may as well have the most fun!

To confirm- Yes, the event did have two dates years ago but its been July for a long time. The July date was for the magazines and other adult media and the August date was for the public.

Last year had a short period of rain late morning that didnt last long. It made a nice break for me to chat with another photographer friend. This year despite the possibility of rain only a few drops fell, but then something nice and unexpected- a cool breeze! That felt great. In the early evening I came across a girl who had to put pants on because she was cold.

The three blondes mostly sat in their chairs in the shade, but they did interact with the crowd, and made it to the posing stands on Sunday.

The crowd just wasnt showing off that much this year. It was mostly just the usual posers. Even the "mail order brides" didnt have much crowd action this year. There were a few new faces, just mot many. The amusing story was the tatooed guy had a new girl. Kat the midget wasnt with him this year. Well the new girl was shy. HAHA! You cant come to a festival like this with a mostly naked tattoed man and be too shy to not show off since being with him gets you LOTS of attention! She did let her wrap come open and show off a little.

The performers had a lot of the usual line-up. AND a lot of the same tricks. The plexiglass half bowl got a lot of paint mixed into the water and made a mess of the stage, but the stage crew was great and cleaned up fast. Wheww! Somebody had to save us from the crappy announcers they pick! Amongst the newbies was a mix of thin and thick. Ivy was back-bigger than ever. One that caught my eye was from Kalamazoo. Tall thin, nice boobs, and put on a good show. Using the lumberjack song from Monte Python sounded like an act that was sure to be a bomb (old style meaning) but turned out well. Another girl had some insane pole tricks. She could climb the pole no-handed by rocking her legs! She also balanced on her belly on the top ball of the pole!

Almost no posing on Saturday at the stands. Still dont know why. That used to be standard to come off the stage and pose. Sunday was better. Still lots of people with no manners shoving the stupid cell phones and selfie sticks in front of your face even though you arrived early for a spot at the fence. One old fart pissed off a middle aged guy so badly we could hear him shouting over the much too loud volume of the PA. I dont think broadcasting to the street helps the show any.

The announcers just plain SUCK! I've never heard so much crappy babble in a day as with that bunch they picked. Sunny lane always sounds like shes in a drunken stupor. Ron Jeremy is way past his prime and has too many recycled jokes. Only thing that stopped him was when he got "pantsed" when another announcer James Bartholet made his oversized boxers come down to his knees. Only funny part of the stage show. I hope that fuckin fuck face flavor flav never comes the fuck back! Yeah that was the only vocabulary word he knew to use more than once. To me Tony Batman was just OK, but compared to the present talent he was the best announcer EVER!

The Saturday night glow show for the campers turned out to be impressive. I got bored after the 4th act and wandered off and heard how good it really was later. By the camping pass so you can stay late next year! Its also fun to hang out. 2nd tip- You can come back in the gate whenever you want the next day and park in a good parking space INSIDE the park.

Everything seemed to run well with only minor delays. Nothing to complain about like in previous years. Conclusion: A successful event.

Ok, back from Chicago now and starting the long process of going through the thousands of shots I took. There was no way I was going all that way and not taking pictures of EVERYTHING I possibly could.
Right, just so everyone is aware, I will be posting all the photos that I think are worthy of this fine community, if you find the pace too slow or there are images that you have seen before then sorry but I'm still enjoying myself. Over the past 10 years I've loved looking at photos of this event and always wanted to go.....at last I've been and I had a f*ckin incredible time, possibly one of the best weekends of my life, what an amazing place! I'm posting all these images over the next weeks / months for all those guys that aren't able to go for whatever reason. This is as near as I can get you to be there guys........ It's going to be a pleasure to post and share.

PS - Please don't bother to complain to me on private message as I won't be brought down by any haters and will ignore you completely.
