New RealPlayer Causing Problems

Anyone else having problems with newest RealPlayer update?

Is there a way to install an older version?

The newest version has two issues. First, if I download a flash video file using the "Download Video to RealPlayer" option, I have to restart my computer to view it. However, latest update seems to have fixed this, but not completely sure yet.

The other (bigger) issue is that it seems to create a HUGE Temporary Internet Files folder which is troublesome to delete. I found a way to do it, bit it's a hassle. I'm quite certain that RealPlayer is the cause of this.

Any solutions or suggestions for other players to play FLV files, as well as download them.

Personally I dislike the real player, but .rm files are around so it has it's place - luckily, Real Alternative has been added into K-lite so you don't need real player anymore. Just uninstall real player, and your previous version of k-lite (if you were using it) and then download K-lite Mega Download Here and install it. Once you do that you can watch real player files (.rm) and .flv files with WMedia Player.

(I have found that WMedia player won't play all .flv files for whatever reason so I also have the FLVPlayer for the few .flv files that have problems with WMedia) Download Here
