Vacation sex is always fun and allows for new adventures that you can’t always do at home. My wife also feels a lot more free to try public sex if it isn’t around people we might know. We are traveling to Las Vegas with some friends soon and trying to come up with some fun sexual ideas.

Things we have done in past vacations include:

My wife is the opposite. On holidays, she doesn't put out... totally clams up, so-to-speak. She's paranoid that evidence on sheets will upset housekeeping staff. I suggested laying down a bath towel, but then she had a mild spaz out about the staff discovering stains on a soiled towel.

In 30 years of marriage, I've successfully convinced her to have sex perhaps twice whilst on vacation. She reluctantly surrendered, but was extremely tense and agitated. In retrospect, I almost regret asking for it.

Could that be why I find holidays/vacations/travel so stressful?

Wow. That's unfortunate. I hope the situation at home is far more fun. I don't think I've ever heard of your situation before to be honest.

Here are 5 things you could try...
Room service scenario. Wife naked or partially naked or in sexy lingerie etc.
If you get a room at the Cosmo there are balconies to enjoy.
Loose top, no bra, bending down in situations that allow views down her top.
the topless pools at certain hotels.

I may have already posted but went to Vegas and did it on the cheap with another couple in 2004. To save money we shared a room, because they were so big and had 2 king beds.

I had thought about potential issues before we got there but the other couple really hadn’t - we knew them well but we were married already they were similar ages to us but bf/gf. I worked with her and were good friends. Her bf we knew but not so well as her.

Getting to the room after a long and delayed transatlantic flight we were really tired and decided to take a nap - at that point the close proximity of another couple hit home and we sat on the bed talking about what they wanted to do. Decided it would be a long few days if we all were off to the ( very large bathroom) to change every time so they agreed ( I had thought it through lol) we would just get changed in the bedroom while other couple was there.

I am sorry to hear that. I can’t imagine how frustrating that would be. I know I am fortunate to have a wife who wants to live out my fantasies and wants me to live out hers. I am hoping that changes for you or even other practical solutions (barricading hotel room doors/bringing your own towels/etc.) can help y’all out.

Great idea! Definitely going to try to get her to do this. Taking her shopping to pick out clothes to tease other men sounds like fun.

Those are great ideas! Definitely want to see if I can get her to do the room service one. Sadly, she shot down the topless pool idea. That was too far on this trip. And she has suggested hotels with balconies. We are at Aria this trip so no Cosmo this time but maybe next trip. But I am hoping her full frontal pressed against the glass overlooking the strip will make up for that!

My wife MUST have sex while on vacation. We have taken great risks to make sure this happens for her (including sex while sharing a hotel room with her mom!!!).

Before having kids, my wife would make sure to not pack bras or panties when going on vacation, and only dresses or skirts. That added to the fun of not being able to change her mind about those things once we were there.

She would often wear low-cut dresses, making sure to adjust the top and "accidentally" exposing a nipple when doing so while people were around.

Anyway, some ideas for you...you said you were going with friends? Sharing a hotel room with any of them? That makes things super easy to have some fun.

I like the suggestion above of not wearing a bra with a loose top and bending over--especially in front of your friends!

The OP brought up his wife shooting down the idea of being topless at the pool. I had a think about that... Perhaps a compromise is in order. You might consider buying her a swimsuit that becomes see-through when wet. Be sure to bring a robe or large pool towel for her to cover up in case she gets uncomfortable.

Vacation sex is usually much better. At home we don't want to get a reputation as that weird couple.

Things we/she have/has done:

• After a shower, have her walk around naked in the bedroom with the curtains wide open
