Default zippyshare

have been getting "unsafe site" warnings from my anti-malware program, most recently from a link to zippyshare. Also, I clicked to open the download site for an item here a few weeks ago (I forget which item or which download site) and had to fight to avoid the "download manager" which my anti-virus software warned me is unsafe. I ended up clicking a link which I mistakenly thought would give me a download without the "manager," and my anti-virus program went crazy telling me I was "under attack." It removed the malware (identified as "adware" of some sort), but I have become skittish about downloading videos from any of the file-sharing sites.

Zippyshare is spreading malware, not a trojan or virus but it is adware.Do not visit the zippyshare.com website, instead start your download manager and just copy paste the link you would like to download, and you will be safe.

I've had the same problem. It's a pity, it used to be the easiest and best to use.

Weird, I haven't experienced any trouble with zippyshare so far.

So either I've been lucky when it comes to downloads or AVG Protection isn't working as intended.

I have had no issues with it, but some warnings are just for tracking cookies. You could try, clearing your history and temp files.
