Default Tips and tricks for writing ENF and erotic fiction

Hi folks. As some of you know, myself and several other good posters here are frequent writers/contributors of ENF and other erotic stories (I myself am mostly active on Writing.com IMO the best place to write stories). But it's easy to forget that there are many other conspiring authors out there who want to get their cocks wet with ENF. But where oh where to begin?
Well, this thread is for those good perverts who want to write quality ENF/erotica but simply don't know where to start or have already started and want tip to improve their work. I urge everybody here to contribute to this thread in some way, whether to give their own advice, comment on another persons advice, or complain that there aren't enough descriptions of naked women in this thread. This thread won't be easy to masturbate too (But by all means try) and is mostly for advice on how to help others masturbate. Nice huh?

To begin, your good friend Zelten will give you his three rules of writing erotica

1. Know what you're writing. Even if you're just sticking to ENF stories there are still many ways you can take it. Is it a lighthearted silly ENF where a girl accidentally loses her clothes to a random breeze? Is it a more realistic scenario where a poor women is trapped naked in a locker room and has to find a way not be seen? For that matter is it super serious, hardcore, and feature graphic sex? These are all things you have to consider before writing a story and it's something your audience needs to know too. When I click on an ENF story expecting a comical romp I don't want super hardcore graphic BDSM.

2. Stay consistent Going in line with the above, if you're writing for a specific genre then I urge you to keep that story within that genre! If a story starts with a ditzy girl walking outside nude and then ends up turning into a shrinking vorefest, then there is something seriously wrong! Combining genres is fine but like I said, let your audience know this and most of all figure out what you want before you start writing.

3. Grammar, punctuation, and paragraphs are your friend! This is more a general writing tip but still applies to erotica. When I read an ENF story i'm not expecting some profound tale but I still want it to be readable, properly paced, descriptive and actually enjoy it. When you watch a porn film do you want it to be dark, grainy, and frustrating to watch? No? Well the same applies to ENF and erotica.

So that's what I have for now. Contribute, comment, fap, do whatever. I want this thread to be a nice handy guidebook for any conspiring ENF writer and I hope you folks will help me with that.
Now you can go back to reading erotic stuff. Sorry for killing your boner, well except you...yeah I saw what you were doing while reading this.

I would say, like any writing, focus on character. I have a hard time with ENF stories in particular that just list the physical events. What the nudity does to the characters is the interesting part. That's also kind of just my opinion.

Describe what the women are wearing in graphic detail. It's frustrating when I'm reading a story about a woman being stripped and I have little to no idea what they're actually wearing or what they even look like.

Also, if the story is particularly long, mention what they're wearing again later on. The reader shouldn't have to scroll back up again to find out what they were wearing.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I generally prefer when writing follows conventional language, rather than pornographic language. Describing what someone looks like is fine, but descriptions like "her C-cup tits" or "perfect pussy" really takes me out of the story and reminds me of what I'm really reading. There are better and more elegant ways of conveying those things. I believe ENF is a genre that benefits from feeling genuine, but pornographic style writing absolutely destroys that for me.

I understand where you're coming from. There are some issues with crossing over into getting too pornographic. It's a difficult balance to strike. Then again, I suppose it depends on what else the reader likes. For example, if they enjoy erotica as well they probably enjoy some of the crossing over.

I'm like you in that when it gets too pornographic I'm turned off. If you've read my stories before you'll know I do add it in there sometimes, but I'm not fussed over it. By the time, we get to that part I've usually grown bored and completely turned off. I just shove it in there for those who do like the pornographic stuff.

Zelten,
Speaking of grammar, the term is aspiring author, not conspiring author.

Such a great thread

As I've continued writing my ENF stories have become more pornographic and I am still growing as a writer in terms of finding out new ways to describe physical descriptions and making unique characters. That being said, one thing I find helpful in writing stories is to explore different aspects of embarrassment beyond someone losing their clothes. Obviously that's why we're all here but it's the added elements of other humiliation (without getting too racy) that make a good enf story.

I always viewed embarrassment as a secret being let out, so while panties and nudity are obvious ones, a person's self consciousness over an out of shape body part or hidden tattoo also make for a great story. Many stories on this website and others are very good at that, I think there's one story series called James the Peasant Knight that is chock full of examples like these. It has something like 60 chapters and I was blown away at how fresh the author was able to keep it.
